Fussy or Wild deodorant

AreYouShittingMe · 19/02/2023 19:31

Has anyone tried either Fussy or Wild deodorant? I'm looking g to move away from single use plastic as much as I can, and been looking into these. I was wondering if there is any significant difference between them, and how people have found them. I've seen them both pushed fairly hard on social media, with fantastic reviews, but I'd prefer to hear peoples experiences. Thank youl!

I tried Wild and found it really squidgy and messy.
Fussy is much firmer and does a good job of keeping me non-whiffy Grin.

Tried both, wild didn’t work for me or my tween daughters but fussy is excellent. Really really delighted with it.

dontblameme · 19/02/2023 19:57

Tried Wild and it didn't work. I really wanted to like it 😔Not heard of Fussy.

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 19/02/2023 19:57

Not tried wild but very happy with Fussy.

NannyR · 19/02/2023 19:59

I found that Wild made me very sore and itchy. I've used a deodorant stone like Pitrok for years and it works brilliantly for me.

Thesaucysalad · 19/02/2023 20:04

fussy gave me terrible burns under armpits

NewChange · 19/02/2023 20:06

I’ve tried both and neither were very effective. Back to Mitchum and happy.

AreYouShittingMe · 19/02/2023 21:41

Thank you everyone!
@NannyR I've never got on with Pitrok unfortunately.
@NewChange a lot of the reviews stated Fussy was as effective as Mitchum which is why I thought I'd try. It's interesting to hear not everyone thinks it is.
@Thesaucysalad that sounds painful!

I've tried them all, and have ended up using a cream in a tin from small biz called Conchus, it's really good. No itch, no burn, no whiff.

Tinkeytonkoldfruit · 19/02/2023 21:50

Fussy is great and absolutely as good as mitchums for me. I have the lavender scented one and it's lovely.

Tivadivaz · 19/02/2023 21:52

Wild works really well for me and my husband. No skin irritation, we like the scents, and it does it’s job. Been happily using for a while now

AndAllOurYesterdays · 19/02/2023 21:56

I like Wild. Much more effective than I expected and it smells lovely. Expensive though - the refill I bought the other day was four times as expensive as the Dove single use one I used to get

HoollyWugger · 19/02/2023 21:58

I love Wild! Menopausal, stinky, used to use two men's deodorants together ... and now Wild is amazing!

newtowelsplease · 19/02/2023 21:59

Found wild absolutely useless. Complete waste of money

AppleDragon · 19/02/2023 21:59

Fussy is great. One of the few deodorants that doesn't set off my allergies and lasts all day.

crispinglovershighkick · 19/02/2023 22:03

I find Wild very effective and not irritating (I use the sensitive version) but they've changed the scents without notice and no longer do a fragrance free one, which is annoying.

hotfuzzball · 19/02/2023 22:03

I was surprised I reacted to Wild (itchy, red armpits), but gave their sensitive version a go and love it.

It seems pricey as pp said but it lasts me forever. So much so I keep getting sent surveys from them asking why I've not purchased anything for a while - just haven't needed to!

Jumbojem · 19/02/2023 22:10

I've been using Wild and it's been ok over the winter. I'm quite a sweaty person though and I just don't think it's going to cut it when the weather warms up.
I know it's a deodorant not an anti perspirant but it's not a good look at work to have sweaty patches under my arms, even if they don't smell.
For this reason I still keep a mitchum roll on for days when it's needed.

Litthefirealready · 19/02/2023 22:13

I’ve used Wild for almost a year and I love it. Don’t ever smell and I am a sweaty person!
It is expensive but I think it lasts well.

RubertRoo · 19/02/2023 22:24

Wild is completely useless for me. It made me smell. I would have smelt better if I didn't wear any deodorant at all. Back to Mitchum but may try Fussy as that seems to be highly recommended.

StillMedusa · 19/02/2023 22:25

Wild was useless for me. I want dry armpits not just nice smelling wet ones (and I'm not very sweaty usually)

I managed to stock up on DOVE when I was in Oz in October... praying it's back on the shelves before I run out! Grin

DumpedByText · 19/02/2023 22:26

Not tried Fussy, my pits smelt like onions with Wild. I proper whiffed!

Incognito19 · 19/02/2023 22:27

Fussy - even stops sporty DS14 smelling wiffy. I really like the selection of fragrances too. They have just launched a sensitive option but no one in the family has had any issues with the standard ones.

GilbertNo4 · 19/02/2023 22:33

I started using wild about October, so it hasn't had tocontend with a particularly sweaty/stinky me yet. It's quite squisgy, but lasts well. I couldn't get the refillable case to work after I put the refill in, so they sent me a new one, no problem.

Yorkshirelass04 · 19/02/2023 22:43

I am using AKT - smells divine, like an expensive perfume. And it works!!!
