Fussy or Wild deodorant

Has anyone tried either Fussy or Wild deodorant? I'm looking g to move away from single use plastic as much as I can, and been looking into these. I was wondering if there is any significant difference between them, and how people have found them. I've seen them both pushed fairly hard on social media, with fantastic reviews, but I'd prefer to hear peoples experiences. Thank youl!

I’m a total convert to Fussy and I am quite a sweaty person and always used potent aerosols prior to trialling it.

I really like the citrus one.

I use Wild but i also use a home made tea tree oil/water spray before, let it dry for a minute then apply Wild.

Wild seems to work well for all of us, although not heard of Fussy.

I've been using wild for about a year. Was very sweaty but wanted less plastic. Was a bit worried I'd smell nice but still get wet patches under my armpits. Was amazed. Even when the rest of me is sweating during a gym session I gave dry and fragrant armpits. Not cheap though compared to the £1 disposable bottle of sure or whatever. But I did get wet armpits with them.

I tried Wild. It was a disaster! I have used 'alternative' deodorants for years so shouldn't have suffered the period of adjustment mentioned on their website. I stuck with it in the hope things would improve, but I just kept getting smellier and smellier. The smell seemed to be getting impregnated into my clothes too from residue left in the fabric. I gave up after 3 months (and set about washing all my tops several times at 60 degrees to get rid of the smell).

I know this is an oldish thread but came across it when looking for info on Fussy. Wild was awful for me - the smell it left on my clothes was horrendous, much worse than a bit whiffy, and there are still some tops I can't wear because of it. Salt of the earth has been better but is making me red and itchy :(

ConcernedCatmother · 13/07/2023 12:16

Tried both

Fussy turned my armpits red raw, never had a reaction like that and I’m not a sensitive skin type of person either.

Wild gets my vote.

Sunnydays0101 · 13/07/2023 12:20

I tried the Wild one and disappointingly it irritated my skin/felt itchy.

AreYouShittingMe · 13/07/2023 12:30

Just an update- I've been using Fussy for a few months now and love it! No issues at all. Didn't try Wild, so can't compare though.

Fussy also have a sensitive range but if Wild works for you…!

DH and teen DCs all now wear Fussy in our household. Just ordered one of their limited edition fragrances which is passionfruit and mango.

MadisonAvenue · 13/07/2023 23:08

It’s over two months since I started using Fussy and it works brilliantly, even in the hot temperatures we had last month.

So glad I tried it rather than giving up on this kind of deodorant after being so disappointed with Wild.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 13/07/2023 23:11

I've been using Wild for a couple of years, and have no complaints.

ginghamstarfish · 13/07/2023 23:16

Neither worked for me, and seems that kind of creamy type stick makes the pits of your clothes stinky too. Fine when washed, but body heat 'reactivates' the smell. I now use Triple Dry at night.
