If so, how?

Ooo I was just thinking this exact thing yesterday!

I got my tweezers out and pulled out all the ones that were protruding.

Curious to know if its a thing though!

fuckthemail · 22/01/2023 13:16

With a nose hair trimmer. Twice a week

FreddieDeLaHay · 22/01/2023 13:18

Dermaplaning stick - very carefully!

KirstenBlest · 22/01/2023 13:18

My hair is very dry and crunchy. I trim it occasionally.

EL8888 · 22/01/2023 13:19

Yep. Thanks to a phase on prednisone it got bushy 🤮. I give it a gentle trim with nail scissors

Vegetablesupreme · 22/01/2023 13:22

Another tweezers user here. I pull them out but it is rather painful and brings tears to my eyes!

iliketartan · 22/01/2023 13:24

Noise hair Grin

Cheeseandabsolutelycrackers · 22/01/2023 13:28

Yep with a cheap nose/ear hair trimmer. Shove it up each nostril, quick hoover around, jobs a good'un - nothing protruding or for boogers to cling to

Tiffan · 22/01/2023 13:31

Tweezers. I don't sneeze as much as I used to but it's still quite eye watering!

Noise hair Grin

😁

There are a few words that I have to stop and think about, even when speaking:

nose- noise
kitchen - chicken
then - than

to my defence I am not an English native speaker ;)

But very proud to say I never get there, they're and their wrong 😅

DD told me the other day my nose looked hairy. 😔

Yet another place I will need to remove hair from. Sigh. Getting old is no joke. I can barely keep track of my beard!

Walterwhiteswifey · 22/01/2023 13:47

I use this bad boy! Takes seconds! Even has a little light on it to Illuminate the nostrils!

Do you trim your noise hair?
WeAreBorg · 22/01/2023 14:42

Nail scissors here too. I’m sprouting random hair all over the place 😂

If anyone has any tips for face fluff (like near your ears/jaw if you know where I mean) then I would be most grateful!

MrsMontyD · 22/01/2023 14:44

Nose hair trimmer, maybe every couple of weeks

TheChosenTwo · 22/01/2023 14:46

Omg I’ve never even thought about this so rushed to the magnifying mirror of doom! Do you guys get rid of everything up your nostrils?! I’ve got a few inside but nothing major, I always thought they were good at trapping crap from going up your nose so they’re staying. I have nothing sticking out thankfully but if I did I think I’d trim with nail scissors.

crispinglovershighkick · 22/01/2023 14:53

As above, cheap nose hair trimmer works, little risk of accidents and only has to be done maybe monthly.

For the tweezer folk I can only say that my ex used to do this and got a recurring boil inside his nose from an ingrowing hair, which eventually grew through his nostril to the outside 😱😱😱 Pre-sporner corner sadly.

I use these for my whole face. They do the chunky black ones on my neck and the peach fuzz on my cheeks plus lip and jawline.

I sound delightful don't I??

Haha thank you! Do you get spots using these? I did try shaving my face fluff and got some little bumps after, just to add to my devastating beauty

Dogsgottabone · 22/01/2023 15:09

No they've never given me spots. And I use them on both dry skin or recently moisturised skin.

Saw them on here about 4 yrs ago and at a stroke it saved me £20 a month on threading my face.

I do still pluck the very thick black ones if I have time to check for them. I keep one of the razor things in my handbag for emergency hair growth at work!

Iloveabaconbutty · 22/01/2023 15:20

Yes, every so often when I feel the presence of a fresh little sprouting or see them in the mirror. Ideally with tweezers but if there aren't any to hand and no-one's looking and the hairs are long enough I've become quite adept at pulling the little blighters forth with the tips of my fingers. Takes them out by the root which is why I prefer that to the nose-trimmer option which can leave a ticklish aspect to the regrowth. Sharp, brief stab of pain but actually quite satisfying....

Snap! Do it when I remember probably once a month or so

ouch321 · 22/01/2023 15:23

Sometimes yes with a trimmer, sometimes with wax.
Other times I just leave it.

I didn't use to touch it at all until a child asked why I had so much hair in my nose.

IheardYouButDontWantToAnswer · 22/01/2023 15:24

I've got a nose hair trimmer but I don't find it very effective. I use tweezers sometimes.

getsomehelp · 22/01/2023 15:26

Tweezers, & when I go to the esthetician for top lip waxing, she waxes them, (which is less painful than tweezers.)
BUT, I have started going to the dermatologist to get my top lip black hairs lazered, & she has done the "entry" to my nose. (Over a few seances)
So hoping the black ones will just stop.
Oh the joys of getting older
