If so, how?

Waxing

userxx · 22/01/2023 15:29

@Dogsgottabone Wow! Much respect to the maintenance, impressive. My friend used to veet her face.

siroodlesofnoodles · 22/01/2023 15:37

I wax mine. I have done since my late tweens.

Rest of face was lasered a long time ago.

With a nose hair trimmer. Twice a week

Twice a week???

Are you the Graffalo?

catinboots123 · 22/01/2023 15:46

*Gruffalo

danni0509 · 22/01/2023 15:55

I wax mine with 2 cotton buds. Usually about once a month,

My lip and chin needs doing weekly,

MintChocCornetto · 22/01/2023 16:00

Nail scissors - no set schedule, just when I start to spot visible hair

AlexaAdventuress · 22/01/2023 16:32

I used to use scissors, but that can be hazardous. I nicked myself up there once and it bled quite a bit - it all seems to be quite vascular. My favoured method these days is Spencer-Wells forceps. They have serrated jaws and grip the hair well.

WeAreBorg · 22/01/2023 16:50

@Dogsgottabone thank you I’ve ordered!
looking forward to everyone’s astonishment when I emerge with my non hairy face

OriginalUsername2 · 22/01/2023 16:55

I use eyebrow razors for everything neck upwards 😆

Wow, that was rude

fancyton · 22/01/2023 17:01

I bought a nose hair trimmer, linked to on Mumsnet, a couple of years ago. Apparently tweezering the nostril hair isn't recommended because of ingrowing hair etc.

KillerSandy · 22/01/2023 17:02

Tiffan · 22/01/2023 13:31

Tweezers. I don't sneeze as much as I used to but it's still quite eye watering!

That is the most horrific torture ever - how can one nose hair hurt so much?

fancyton · 22/01/2023 17:02

Wow, that was rude

Why rude? Twice a week sounds like a lot of nostril hair has quickly grown. I use my trimmer once every 2-3 months.

Some of us are hairier than others, surely that's no surprise?

fuckthemail · 22/01/2023 17:08

Why rude?

Because I clearly need to so there's no need for them to call me names.

And there's no need for you to comment on it either, because again, it's obvious that I do it because I need to

Please don't tell me style + beauty is having a spill over of AIBU bitches

Jellybean23 · 22/01/2023 17:09

Nose trimmer every time. Quick, painless and safe.

We call our neighbour Hairy Nose John. The hair is so long, it's mesmerising.

Hairy nose John 😂 i think that might be me - hello!

Hollyhocksauce · 22/01/2023 17:10

Please please can someone explain this.

Are you all removing hair because they are protuding from your nostrils? Or are you just removing the hidden hairs in case someone you fancy happens to look up your nose with a torch?

I've never plucked or trimmed my nose hairs. I don't have any protruding hairs, just a few dark hidden ones up there. Am I really meant to be removing those? It's so dark up there, surely no one can see them?

vodkaredbullgirl · 22/01/2023 17:11

With a lighter, normally if your lighter is on too high and singe the nose hair lol

AlexaAdventuress · 22/01/2023 17:15

Well, it's not compulsory. But if I look in the mirror and tilt my head back slightly and can see them, then it's going to be pretty obvious to anyone I'm talking to, so I'd rather not!

Gooseysgirl · 22/01/2023 17:31

I get my upper lip waxed every 2-3 weeks and my beautician waxes my nostrils at the same - but Jesus it makes my eyes water!!

Nope, leave them be. It's the ones which are heading south that need to be tackled.

DeFacto · 23/01/2023 03:20

I have never noticed a woman with nose hair, so either;

A) Women don't really get nose hair.

B) Women do get nose hair, and those that do remove it so well, it's unnoticeable.

I'm going A.

No-one notices your nose-hair.

It's not a thing.
