How many chances do you give a beautician before jumping ship?

hi guys I love having my nails done and in November I gave my friend a chance she’s only young but fully qualified anyway 1st set chipped the next day and she couldn’t fit me in before my event so I had to do a patch job then my 2nd set lifted and caused great pain now my 3rd set are just horrible the acrylic is bumpy the tips are wonky and the paint job is horrific! But I feel guilty for jumping ship and going elsewhere? Would you give her another chance?

Sorry but those look shit! And that was already the 3rd chance! Can’t believe you paid for that and are considering going back. They’d look a thousand times better if you did some cheapo DIY polish on your own nails. If I’m paying I’d expect a hell of a lot better.

If you didn't know the person doing the nails, would you accept this standard of finish? It's nice to help someone who's starting out, but it's also ok to hold a threshold of quality for yourself!

I could understand these if she was training and practising on you as but not fully qualified and if you are paying.

I doubt she would have returned had she’d paid 😂. I suspect the freebie element of the nails was just too tantalising

They are the worst nails I have ever seen and if they are lifting and water get get down the back then you risk a serious fungal infection and could lose your nails.
Don't let her do them again because she doesn't know what she is doing.

I agree with the PP, they are absolutely the worst I have ever seen. I would be giving her really honest feedback as she needs to know that's no ok.
Honestly, they're terrible. I could do better with zero training.

I would also want a refund and I'd go elsewhere, get them soaked off and start again.

I'm sorry OP but I laughed out loud. Your friend has got a lot of practicing to do and you've been kind enough to let her practice on you three times, but she's clearly nowhere near professional standards.

Oh my good god, they are awful! Sorry op but that is the worst set of nails I have ever seen. Surely the 'beautician' can see they are shockingly shite too??? I'm actually embarrassed for her!
