Brown eyeliner for blue eyes?

I need a softer look than my usual black so thought I'd try brown. Looking for a kohl pencil ideally, cool toned. Would so appreciate any tips!

Don’t have a recommendation but have recently switched to dark brown mascara instead of black and I think it’s much more flattering to eye colour and my skin

I like dark brown for my blue eyes. I rate Bourjois eyeliners. Rimmel are good too.
I find a slightly purple/aubergine brown is flattering.

Victoria Beckham ones are nice like a pp said. I have ‘cocoa’, the shipping is ridiculously expensive though and the courier is Evri. I had to go to Resolver to actually get mine delivered.

I recommend Mac - Teddy. I also use brown mascara. I quite like navy too! Black makes me look scary.

Yes navy is nice. Plum or aubergine for an evening look goes nicely with blue eyes.

I only use black eyeliner on the upper waterline - semi tight lining I suppose that might be.

Not kohl but Charlotte Tilbury feline flick in brown is great, and yes to those who say brown mascara.

Yes to an aubergine colour instead of brown.

KIKO intense colour long lasting eye liner brown no. 14 is great for blue eyes.

Also, Charlotte Tilbury eye colour magic liner duo in copper charge also makes blue eyes really pop.

I switch to an olive colour eyeliner. It’s an NYX kohl from boots and I also use a brown mascara now. A much softer look for me.

I much prefer brown eyeliner, or grey, aubergine or olive. The only colour I don’t like is black. It’s too severe.

Brown is softer. Bronze is good too.

Bronze looks great with blue eyes on the principle that orange and blue are opposites on the colour wheel so set each other off well.

I like urban decay 24/7 pencil in whiskey. It’s a coolish brown, so doesn’t make my eyes look red and sore, which the more orangey ones can.

I use avon glimmersticks and I struggle to find anything that works as well for me. I use brown but khaki and blue also work well. Plum and grey didn't suit me but my skin is really pale and plum seems to make my eyes look red. Interested by what people say about brown mascara, I don't like it but I might give it another go as it was 10 years since I last tried it and I think my colouring has changed

Rimmel brown eyeliner with Rimmel black /brown mascara.

I use the Glimmerstix mentioned above and also Clinique Quickliner which is brilliant- there's a grey-blue (looks really blue in the pics, but isn't) a browny-purple called aubergine. Both really flattering.

Another vote for MAC teddy also coffee for a non shimmery eyeliner. Clinique quickliner in smoky brown is a cool greyish brown. All look good on my blue eyes and have used for years!

Do you mean no 4 @ChocoMarmalade? 14 looks like it's blue :-)

@SaltyLemons - in the KIKO range I have no's 12 - 14 which are all shades of brown with 14 being a cool mid-brown with a slight shimmer. I have thrown away the box so only have what it says on the pencil - it's the twisty up pencil type with a smudger on the end.
