Brown eyeliner for blue eyes?

I need a softer look than my usual black so thought I'd try brown. Looking for a kohl pencil ideally, cool toned. Would so appreciate any tips!

Urban Decay Stash really makes my eyes pop. Not literally.

I'm blonde with green eyes and I love brown for everyday. I only wear black if I'm out out and glammed up.

It's so hard to find decent brown mascara - plus I can only wear waterproof which restricts it further. Bobby Brown and Maybelline both used to do the gel pot eyeliners in brown but I haven't been able to get hold of either for ages.

I'm blonde/blue eyed and have always worn dark brown mascara and eyeliner.
Pixi do really nice soft eyeliner pencils. M&S have them.

This has been an interesting thread. As I get older I'm thinking of going to a brown eyeliner for something a bit more subtle.
I think the black eyeliner and mascara may be too harsh as I age.
Also in the process of going lighter in my hair colour too.
