I am always a bit surprised that these are still sold. I thought they were an early nineties thing.

Yes but they aren't made very well anymore so I switched to sloggi all round tai

Metabigot · 14/01/2023 23:09

High rise shorts for me as I have a huge tum and hi rise feel like they aren't covering my arse.

If I find a style that fits well I buy about 10 as they are few and far between!

Metabigot · 14/01/2023 23:10

*hi leg

LadyAstor · 15/01/2023 00:23

Yes. I love them. Cant abide low leg knickers scrunching up at my leg break when i sit down. Very flattering too and comfortable, as long as there's enough material in the arse.

mrsfollowill · 15/01/2023 00:36

Have worn highleg since they were invented - never bothered with the 'thong thing' not me! Nice and comfy even when pregnant!

magicthree · 15/01/2023 00:44

Haven't worn them for decades - boy leg all the way for me.

MrsHughesPinny · 15/01/2023 09:23

Noooo. Either shorts or boy briefs for me. I like to have my whole bum covered and the high leg ones always ride up.

StarlightLady · 15/01/2023 09:39

I have various styles including some high legs but Brazilians are my regular go to. Whenever I buy a new bra, I get 2 pairs of knix to match, (although I top up with others), so sometimes the style depends on availability.

ZaZathecat · 15/01/2023 10:16

I don't think of knickers as a fashion thing. Most people wear what they feel comfortable in or what they feel suits their shape. High legs suit me and I look very odd in shorts for some reason

Yep, same here!

borntobequiet · 15/01/2023 10:21

I find them comfortable and practical and they suit my body shape.

knitfastdieyoung · 15/01/2023 10:48

Who cares if they are 90's? They are so comfy. I don't care what statement my smalls are making. Mostly I just don't want elastic digging in my crotch or fabric disappearing up my arse....

whiteroseredrose · 15/01/2023 10:51

Yes because they tend to have a higher waist too.

knitfastdieyoung · 15/01/2023 10:56

Talking of which, can anyone recommend a decent quality, reasonably priced high leg knicker that is not M&S (am currently in a bit of an argument with M&S over their shit customer service and refuse to spend any more money in there until it's resolved.) Not sure where to look.

I find the Brazilian go up by derrière and the gussets are very narrow now

gogohmm · 15/01/2023 12:24

Never realised they were early 90's still my knickers of choice

newbeggins · 15/01/2023 12:27

yes have done from 90s till now. Other styles feel too low down and restrictive

Magenta82 · 15/01/2023 12:30

I've just discovered them and live them. Way more comfy than thongs or full briefs, which I tended to wear before.

KnittedCardi · 15/01/2023 12:36

I've never worn anything but high legs! They are comfortable and suit me. Had M&S for years, but then the sizing and quality went tits up, so now have Sloggi Weekend Tai Briefs. Soooo comfy, no VPL, no bum flossing, nice gusset coverage 😂

KangarooKenny · 15/01/2023 12:36

Yes, high leg or bikini. Not all of us want a cheese wire up our arse 🤣

rainbowandglitter · 15/01/2023 12:43

I only wear thongs. I can't wear anything else now, it feels like there's too much material in the way and I'm paranoid about them being seen through clothes.

WhoppingBigBackside · 15/01/2023 12:45

@rainbowandglitter , but thongs are visible through clothes too.

IsadoraQuagmire · 15/01/2023 12:56

It's what I always wear. I hadn't even been born in the early 90s.

PauliString · 15/01/2023 14:33

KirstenBlest · 14/01/2023 18:37

Mine are probably from the early nineties.

Phew, not just me then

toddlermum83 · 15/01/2023 14:38

But 90's and Y2K is fully on trend??
