I need a thick soft super longline cardigan

Basically a dressing gown alternative for home so I don’t look like such a hobo.

Where do I find such a thing?

Monsoon was always good for these, not sure if it's shut down.

I bought one from hobbs last year which is still going well.

Was a nice dressing gown sort in Next the other day if you're not precious about fabrics.

Love this one from Mango

I got a long warm cardi from Fat Face last year. No wool, so no itchiness, and easy to sling on and off. A quick Google tells me they have long cardis this year too.

I got one from Phase Eight, via a charity shop.

I bought one in Primark just before Christmas

H&M did various lengths this winter and they’re very soft and cosy - there might be a few left in the sale

Yes this is what I need! I live in my dressing gown!

I looked in h and m and next today but they are all too thin! Or the ones left anyway. Maybe I have missed it as we are coming into spring 🤦‍♀️

Love the mango one but that’s a coat so looks a bit rigid. I want to be able to sofa slouch in it.

Ahh the phase eight ones look perfect but £100 and not sure I can justify that for black which does wash me out 😬

George at Asda has several nice ones. Range ftom £14 - £20 so won't break the bank.

Hmm so I bought quite a few in the sale at boohoo and it was a disaster quality wise 🤦‍♀️

Such a shame as they would have been just perfect in colour and shape, but just scratchy and not nice. Can tell they won’t wash well either.

So back to square one again.

Oh that's such a shame @LemonSwan, I am sorry. I wonder why some acrylic is so soft and slouchy while others are not? It makes shopping online very difficult.

What you need is a coatigan! I have two I bought a couple of years ago and they’re lovely! Just did a quick Google and seem to be loads available.

No don’t apologise! They were going to be just PERFECT. It was exactly what I wanted. I was so so excited. But sadly just didn’t work out.

And no loss as I will just return and continue the search. Was good too as now understand I do want extra long, and I do want pockets.

Tescos had them last year, soft, good thickness, knee length, wash well, lovely. Bloody miracle for the price! Haven’t looked this year but worth a try?
