Jeans…where do people buy their jeans?

I need some new decent jeans desperately please tell me where you buy yours from?

I got some nice ones from John Lewis recently. Their own brand, slim fit, high ish waist, dark colour. What sort of thing do you want?

What proportion of the UK population are you hoping will respond? What if you get 30 million replies? How will you decide who to trust?

AKA might it not be helpful to narrow the options a little?

The last couple of pairs from Hush. They are great quality and have washed well. I got one pair of boyfriend and one Agnes style.
I’ve heard good things about M&S jeans but haven’t tried any in years - I assume they have improved as they used to be a bit meh!

Jeggings from Next - look and feel like jeans, but soooo stretchy and comfy!

Marks and Spencer Sienna jeans are great. But watch the leg length. The regular are now rather long and the short are nearer a standard leg length.

Primark jeans (not jeggings) are brilliant for mom style jeans

LoveLeggings do great jeans with stretch

Stradivarius and pieces on ASOS also nice and soft

Primark, they're the only ones that don't gape at the back, and are long enough

Only ever buy Next jeans currently have 4 pairs different cuts and colours all great fit, cheap and cheerful but I don't do designer jeans so depends on what you are after?

Having tried on a million different brands over the years I can confirm River Island are the best...every time!

Yes! I have these and they are great if you want skinnies without breaking the bank.

Also, Hush boyfriend jeans are great and I also love love love G-star Raw Kate Jeans for a more casual style

I buy mom jeans from Next and surprisingly I really like the New Look mom jeans. I like the Zara straight leg jeans too.

Thanks all - a family member mentioned River island & Topshop to me so looks like River island is quite popular. A few of you saying Next & M&S too so will look on there. Style wise I’m after some mom & some slim fit ones.

I’m also quite short & have always gone for shops where there’s options of leg length.

Depends how much you want to pay. I just got 3 pairs of good American, in their sale. Love them

I got some really nice ones at an Abercrombie and Fitch outlet, I have quite a straight up and down shape (even when I gain weight I'm an apple, no hourglass here) and long legs though, so might not be good for you! My mum is shorter and likes levis as they'll alter the leg to fit for free

Agree with this. I recommend M&S Lily slim jeans but try them on first as the lengths are all over the place.

M&S have massively upped their game with jeans but the sizing is crazy. I'm a uk12 but the m&s 10s come up slightly big on me. If you can find a pair that fit then they're good.

Ps I have never looked in river island for jeans and in my minds eye they will all be low rise and covered in diamanté 😂 that was clearly the last time I ventured in there!!

I like Monki. I’ve got jeans from there, I’ve had for years.

Also Whistles. One of my favourite pairs, think it’s the ‘barrel’ fit.

It's not changed that much to be fair.
