How do you remove facial/upper lip hair?

Just that. I usually wax but it always breaks me out. Hair lighteners don’t work as the actual hair is still visible. I’ve not revisited this method since I started waxing about 10 years ago and I think technology must have moved on!

Prefer something I can do at home if possible, painless preferable!

I use Hollywood browzer

howrudeforme · 29/11/2022 20:33

If your hairs dark and skin light, Philips lumea.

it’s been a game changer for me (I’m v hairy).

Twigletgirl27 · 29/11/2022 20:34

I've used Veet once a week for years. My hair is fair and bleaching would make no difference - fair hair is still visible! I know it doesn't suit everyone but I buy the sensitive version and leave on no longer than 5 minutes.

I use Eyebrow Razor (yes its for eyebrows), works wonders on any facial hair

Slimjimtobe · 29/11/2022 20:35

I veet and then use a Philips Lumea

chikp · 29/11/2022 20:36

Tweezer man springing thing

User1437957 · 29/11/2022 20:37

Lumea

lljkk · 29/11/2022 20:59

Razor.

OhhhhhhhhBiscuits · 29/11/2022 21:00

Threading.

Luredbyapomegranate · 29/11/2022 21:01

Threading. You can’t do it at home, but you can normally get it done quite cheaply

Tweezer man springing thing

This.
Stings like buggery but does the job and doesn't bring me out in a rash.

Sotired22 · 29/11/2022 21:03

another vote for Hollywood browzer!

LindorDoubleChoc · 29/11/2022 21:07

x 15 magnifying mirror from Superdrug and pointed tweezers. About twice a week.

ChimChimeny · 29/11/2022 21:08

Braun facial epilator

user1487194234 · 29/11/2022 21:09

Springy thing twice a day
Veet twice a week
Tweezers always to hand
It is virtually a hobby 🤣

Flaunch · 29/11/2022 21:11

Phillips lumea has seen the vast majority of it off and now I just very occasionally shave it.

Nancienoo · 29/11/2022 21:13

Threading

Tinkerbyebye · 29/11/2022 21:13

sometimes tweezer, sometimes a flawless shaver as advertised

DeeofDenmark · 29/11/2022 21:17

I have a small stick shaver and just buzz it over my top lip.

tropicbloom · 29/11/2022 21:19

I shave mine. I don't really get why women have to use loads of different inventive ways to do something that men do every day very simply.

I don't like the stubble

Carbon12 · 29/11/2022 21:22

Threading.

It's actually quite easy once you know how and so much quicker than tweezing.

Or you can pay a beautician. My local one charges about £3 for an upper lip thread.

Braun facial epilator

Me too!

didiimaginethis · 29/11/2022 21:25

Threading, no breakouts/spots like waxing sometimes gives
