I got a new catalogue today and it looks exactly the same as the last one

I am finding that just looking through the catalogue itself satisfies any need in me for rose prints or little birds

Amy Butler's prints are much nicer than Cath Kidstons. CK is just a tad too twee for me.

hoarsewhisperer · 29/01/2008 12:06

I'm over rose print.....

coming overall neutral at the moment

DiamandaGalas · 29/01/2008 12:06

I've never actually bought anything

which makes me surprised that they keep on sending me a catalogue

surely they should send me some kind of 'lapsed customer' letter and then have done with me?

I actually like retro crap but, then I've never been a slave to fashion
Ck is still to twee for me.

nailpolish · 29/01/2008 12:07

i prefer laura ashley

the new catalogue made me sigh very loudly

Cappuccino · 29/01/2008 12:08

I don't necessarily think it is all over

just it needs to be updated every so long surely?

Cappuccino · 29/01/2008 12:08

rantinghousewife · 29/01/2008 12:10

God yes, I drink my tea in a bucket, I would feel short changed if someone handed me a thimble full of tea.

ThePettyandIllinformedGoat · 29/01/2008 12:10

OP posts:
hoarsewhisperer · 29/01/2008 12:16

i just think it's so "overdone". It's like all these niche brands that get utterly overexposed by opening hundreds of high street franchises......think molton Brown, the White company, Kath K......all so done to death now

ThePettyandIllinformedGoat · 29/01/2008 12:17

the whole point of cath kidston et al. is the kooky cool that most folk used to get from charity shops etc. the minute you can buy it on the high street it becomes abit ubitquitous and tired. [hugs chintz curtains and whimpers]

nailpolish · 29/01/2008 12:18

not sure about teh marimekko stuff
can get v v v v similar in ikea for pennies
