Footwear for going out - not heels

I'm done with heels, haven't really worn them for years, i have a bad back & wobbly ankles. I do have one pair of kitten heel sock boots that I love but I have them for years & am a bit bored with them & need some alternatives.
I don't have a wild social life just the occasional date night with DH or casual dinner with friends. Usually I'd wear a pair of jeans, pleather skinny trousers or a satin skirt.
Any thoughts?

I bought some velvet loafers with bees embroidered on them. Basically a rip off of Gucci but they look great

Ok I think I've found my winter feet look, for dresses at least. These ones may be heels but I actually really like the slouchy style with a skirt/dress. There must be a similar flat option, off to search.
