What's with the 'flamingo leg' nonsense on sm?

I love looking at fashion pages etc on social media but oh my god of I see one more 'cute' leg kick back whilst showing off an outfit I'll scream. Is it in place of the 'look at me I'm so cute' pigeon toed stance? Surely I'm not the only one who finds this completely ridiculous? 😊

It's so annoying and twee. Please, everyone, stop doing it. It makes grown women look like little girls. So many decent outfits ruined by kicking up your leg and posing.

I know. In 20 years time we're going look back at the photos and wonder why no-one was ever able to stand up straight.

Equally irritating is the 'photo in the mirror where the phone obscures most of the face' and that bloody half tucked in top look, which suits just about no-one and just looks ridiculous when everyone is doing it.

Can I add posing with a ✌️ sign?! Just. Stop.

Or the group of women standing, but all crouched over

Bit like the influencers who stand tits out, pout on and one leg slightly bent....

We were in Italy on holiday last week, women posing like this everywhere. We were in a beautiful historic town on Lake Como and all they were interested in was posing for photographs. DH couldn’t believe it and thought two of them must be doing a photoshoot for a magazine.

I thought it was to show the shoes when they’re doing an outfit shot

Maybe in a photo @whiteonesugar , it possibly is, but in videos I think it's more to look 'cute'.
