I'm looking for a 'nude' lipstick...

I want a lipstick, but a nice creamy/satin one, not matte or anything described as 'long wearing' as I have dry lips.

Tomorrow I'll be in a big posh department store with every brand imaginable! I usually shop online and don't have a dept. store near me so this is a once-off for me and I thought it would be an ideal time to get a new lipstick as it's not the sort of thing you can buy online.

So, hit me with your recommendations please. Of course I'll look at CT Pillowtalk, but interested to hear if there are others that might work. Thank you

My absolute favourite nude is NYX Shanghai - a kind of rosy nude.
I also love MAC Faux.

Me too. I used to use creamy nude but they discontinued it. I am now using canoodle which is quite similar. The price has gone up though don't you think? Worth it though for a good lippie.

I have used this too and liked it but it didn't stay long on my lips and the actual lipstick went down quickly, I do love the colour though. I got a chubby stick as a free gift recently in graped up as you could only have that or the strawberry one but it wasn't the same as heaping hazelnut.

I’m sure I read one time that your perfect nude lip shade is best matched to the colour of your nipple, do with that what you will…

Clinique Beige Nude is my favourite lipstick ever.
And I have a lot!

I have multiples of it so I can have one on my dresser, in my bag, by the front door etc.

It's pale with pinky undertone (despite being called Beige nude) I find a lot of nudes too dark and browny for me. Pillow talk was too dark for me.

So I fell in love with the most expensive one! Chanel No 116 "easy" I loved the colour and the texture more than any of the others. BUT... it was out of stock! In fact all the pinky/nude shades were out of stock. I did like the shade of Mac "faux" but I much preferred the texture of the Chanel one. Raging but at least I know what to order online now.

I like Dior Lip Glow, the 01 pink adjusts to your own lip colour and is a sheer nude on me.
The 'rosewood' is a darker nude-pink, might be sort of nude enough for.

They are very sheer, but also very moisturising and lovely to wear. Around the 30 quid mark.
I read on here a few years ago that Estee Lauder's Pinkberry creme is a dupe for Chanel's 'Boy' (and a lot cheaper. ) It's more nude than pink, IMO. It's discontinued but often available on eBay.

Clinique Long lasting lipstick in Blushing nude. I wear it on it's own during the day & always put the Almost Lipstick in black honey over the top as a gloss.

OP as you didn’t get it yet, Lancôme have the best nudes, choices and textures. I have tried all the above, far prefer to Chanel, Mac etc (and don’t get the love of Pillow Talk, bought on hype and seriously underwhelming)
