Just that. I have a strong urge to buy it, but I don't know if it's just the power of suggestion.

Is it nice? Would it suit a busty size 18?

I love Joe Brown but am extremely busty and often their clothes don't fit well because of that. Scoop necks aren't so bad but I prefer v necks

properdoughnut · 24/09/2022 16:48

I like it

Yeah I'm worried my boobs won't fit. It's button down so I have visions of them all popping open in public Blush

I think it’s a good shape but don’t love the print - a bit drab looking.

I feel it it were embroidered it would be perfection, but the print I'm not sure about

I got this when it first came out in a darkish red. I am not flat chested but not massively busty, D cup
It's easy to wear and I get lots of positive comments from strangers when out I'm it. I feel like the high priestess of a religious cult when wearing it which goes to my head a bit😁

Jadoube · 24/09/2022 17:05

I am being followed around by it in this colourway and am very tempted, although it is absolutely nothing like my usual style…they’re working a weirdly specific blinder on marketing, clearly!

Did you get your usual size? Is there room to spare in the bust? I'm a G cup.

Plus what shoes? I'm thinking brown knee highs? Or chunky black ankle boots? (Those are my two only options 🤣)

I've not seen in in the red before. Nice. Very autumny.

I quite like it. I brought this from Monsoon a while back, which is similar-ish.

@jadoube - love that dress as well.

I like all of them but the monsoon one is chef’s kiss

EXACTLY my reaction.
It looked upon first sight that it was embroidered.
But the fact it is in fact printed put me off.
Real embroidery would have been much nicer.
Also- Could look a bit shapeless in real life?
As in, poorly fitting.

MrsSkylerWhite · 24/09/2022 17:29

puts me in mind of Margot Leadbetter.

I do rather like this one- But you’d need to be tall to carry it off well.
Looks very 1970’s.
Looks great on the Model - but then, clothes often do!

westthroughthewhitleywood · 24/09/2022 17:33

It's really quite ugly

If this were a £30 dress I wouldn't think twice btw. It's the price that is making me pause.

I've not had Joe Browns before. What's the quality like?

OP posts:
MsRinky · 24/09/2022 22:55

The blue flowers dead on the nipples are a bit odd. And depending on your personal perkiness, may not actually line up with your nipples which might be even odder.

ODFOx · 24/09/2022 23:49

Get it, try it, send it back if you don't like it
FWIW my experience of Joe Browns is that if it suits you it'll look stunning and if not you'll know straight away.

Fraaahnces · 25/09/2022 00:00

I love all of them for autumn! Would be great with boots, can wear coats over top for winter.

Fraaahnces · 25/09/2022 00:01

*Tbf am in Aus and it’s already 28’c where I live and I was wearing something similar yesterday in very fine cotton and different colours.

TheOrigRights · 25/09/2022 00:19

Ooop, I thought everyone would say it was awful, but it seems I'm in the minority.
I'm afraid I don't like it at all; it's way too busy for me and pretty shapeless.
I guess I'm imagining on myself.

SarahAndQuack · 25/09/2022 00:19

I'm sorry, but I think it's frumporama. I think this season is awful for clothes actual people can wear, but even so.
