Beauty advent 22 part 2 (massive spoilers)

I don't know the etiquette of starting a runover of someone else's thread. I hope this is OK.

Reminder advent22 gives a hand-wash and handcream free gift on space nk.

I bought it, but now I have alight regret. I should have held out to see what harrods had.

The CEO cream wasn't 5oz as had been trailed on many calendar sites, but 0.5oz, 15ml. 5oz would have been a ridiculous size so that makes sense.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how quickly, or even if, the John Lewis calendar may sell out? Did it sell out last year? I'm tempted but can't quite justify buying it until November

Apologies if someone has already flagged- John Lewis is offering £15 off £150 spend for MyJL members (easy to sign up) till 11.59pm on 4th Oct.

Calendar launches 4th so price would be £164 instead of £179 if bought on first day.

It initially sold out fairly quickly last year but there was a second drop a few days later which lasted longer. It certainly sold out long before December though.

Also a bit annoyed that Harrods haven’t revealed their contents yet as 22 full sized products sounds very promising (I realise this is a ridiculous ‘complaint’!) but I ended up going for Liberty as it has a great range of products. Particularly looking forward to trying the Le Labo and Vilhelm perfumes. Could possibly be tempted by the Harrods fragrance calendar if it’s good 👀

@Stoic123 thanks for the heads up on the JL calendar. I am a member but keep forgetting to check the rewards/offers so might have missed that. (Just checked and the offer is there). That’s my decision made!

@Stoic123 I've just signed up to myJL but can't see that discount, only a £5 evoucher on a £50 spend online. Might only be for current myJL members which is a shame.

We have a direct debit for 20 quid a month to spend at liberty. For that we have the money that we deposit and 4 times a year we get a beauty box. We can spend the credit on anything we like. A lot of us signed up with the expectation we would spend the years credit on the calendar.

What is the 4x year Liberty beauty box like, can anyone give an example of contents?
