Beauty advent 22 part 2 (massive spoilers)

I don't know the etiquette of starting a runover of someone else's thread. I hope this is OK.

Reminder advent22 gives a hand-wash and handcream free gift on space nk.

I bought it, but now I have alight regret. I should have held out to see what harrods had.

The CEO cream wasn't 5oz as had been trailed on many calendar sites, but 0.5oz, 15ml. 5oz would have been a ridiculous size so that makes sense.

I've ordered the Sephora haircare edit. I wanted a few of the products anyway so it's good value for me.

@CountryCob I fancy the fragrance edit. I can't see the size of the Jo Loves anywhere though, for the rest it lists if they're full size or travel size but it doesn't say for that candle. If it's full size I'd definitely get it but from the photo it looks a bit smaller? Hard to tell though

The candle is 185g, I think that full size?

I'm tempted by the CB fragrance or luxury edits, it's my bird that coming up and DP asked for suggestions of what I would like so could be a possibility...

Need to check out the Sephora AC's and edits first though

CB usually do a GWP in the last week of October. Might wait for that before considering any of the edits. I don’t think they are as good as last year’s edits though.

Some of the Sephora edits definitely look good value.

Of the CB offering I'm liking the luxury kit the best - will also wait and see if they do their GWP ...

Interesting there are so many perfume offerings this year - wonder if they've scrambled to release after the success of Harrods or if more of a collective lightbulb moment that ppl might enjoy them

I wonder whether the Hut group are now regretting taking over CB. Must be a nightmare in the current climate.

Doesn't seem to have stopped people splurging on clothes though! Trying to get a few new bits for my wardrobe at the moment and everything I like is out of stock in my size!

i am not as wowed by the CB edits as I was last year. Always very wary with perfume boxes as have very definite likes and dislikes. @Zeeza I think the LIB stylist box looks good too, I wouldn’t use everything but a lot I would. Love temple spa stuff and the cleanser is gorgeous.

I had a great CB edit last year, but I'm not excited by this years offering either (which is just as well given that I already have plenty of stuff!).

Thinking that I might open one of my advents in November to get me in the Christmas spirit! 😂

It feels we have been waiting an age for M&S. I know they want to tie it in with people starting Xmas shopping at the end of November, but maybe they will regret releasing theirs so late this year.

Agree @IconicKitty I cba with waiting for M&S and wanted to buy mine before starting to panic about heating bills etc!

I've bought Clinique this year as got a discount and I'll definitely use it all.

I think I’ll get the CB Grooming Edit for DH for his birthday (Nov) or Xmas. After the messages on here I think I’ll hold out to see if there is a GWP. But then again it only costs 30£ or so, in which case I would need to buy a lot of stuff for myself to make the qualifying spend. I really do not need more stuff!!!

I’m also contemplating getting a second calendar (have CB already) but I’ll see if there are any good Black Friday offers or discounts.

Thanks for the Sephora edit link, just ordered the mask and wellness, low on masks and about to get a shower oil as use one to shave bits of leg hair not Lumeaed yet - this is a good trick for dewy legs. Sephora have 20% student discount if you know any students for other products but code doesn’t work on edits….
