I bought it, but now I have alight regret. I should have held out to see what harrods had.

The CEO cream wasn't 5oz as had been trailed on many calendar sites, but 0.5oz, 15ml. 5oz would have been a ridiculous size so that makes sense.

@FredaFox You’ve given me hope…customer services on the chat just said if it’s saying it’s out of stock on the website then it’s out of stock but I agree it’s ridiculous as it was only released a few days ago!

Have you checked sizes? Because CB (forgive me if you know this already) do a little drawer of things for the 25th which is fun but they are teeny tiny usually. So if one of those products was something you’re really keen on and you end up with two larger things you don’t want, the economics start to go skewiff.

Net a porter on sale now. there is a 15pc of new customer code available on their website, but I dont know if it works on ACs.

Not for me. The sizes of the things I want to try are too small. And gua sha FFS.

And a roller ball and a pillow spray.
A nail polish would be better.
Does anyone actually buy roller balls?I like a pillow spray but they last ages so we don’t need one in every AC/ GWP.

Roller balls are unsanitary and I actually don't get the AA roller ball. What's it for???? I take pliers to it and just use it as regular bath oil, which i do like.

I wonder if they'll struggle to shift NaP, it's top money at £260 and not generous with the contents.

I do think there will be discounts this year but want one before December ideally. For me it’s a combination of the increased price of living, more advents for sale and the fact that for the obsessive like us who discuss them in summer they are becoming too samey and a bit downscaled at times in terms of size. I do love a beauty advent. Great idea @Zeeza about the pliers and roller ball might actually use them that way and I envy your using up rate. I give the things I absolutely won’t use away but have a box of stuff from last year especially as Space NK were generous I thought with fill size. Using up now but I think/hope there will be reduced ones in November to mop up as not completely sold on any one advent at the moment, quite a few of the ones I like I have had before really Have got a food one but that is it, usually I have 1/2 in loft by now. Do want only one this year (always say that) but I do want one as it freshens up beauty from my usual buys and is a lovely treat. But I am waiting to see what gets reduced as I don’t have one I am really bothered about at the moment

I have wasted stuff in the past. I'm just better at getting rid of things at the beginning now instead of waiting until they've been staring at me for 3 years in the bathroom cabinet.

I've also upped the quality of the face creams I'm using and have seen the difference they make to me, so I use them twice every day or more without fail.

There have been some money off deals already. I got the elle calendar for £130 instead of £175. The space nk came with free gift. There were Holland and Barrett offers.

I expect the latest in beauty to launch with a code. I am also a times subscriber, so if LiB don't do one I expect them to.

Cult and JL probably won't, but I think they are good value already.

Had the code through for LIB calendar but only £12.50 off. I really can't decide between LIB and JL calendars. All the full sizes in LIB makes it feel like a no brainer but I wish they'd put a mascara instead of the liner / full size lipstick in there.

I am the same @Ohdear7 . I think I will go with JL (but keeps swinging). My sticking point with LIB is all the hair products I quite like the look of the eye liner though!

I've just ploughed through multiple lists of contents. There is quite a lot of duplication - at the top end. Augustine's Bader Rich Cream is in at least two.

Anyway. I'm going liberty. Assuming I can get one!

@Ohdear7 unless I've read it wrong there is a Trish McEvoy tubing mascara.

LIB seems overpriced, even with the £12.50 off. JL seems better value if spending in that price range.

The mascara is in Liberty. LIB has the Trish McEvoy eyeliner I think

I got it cheap in the sale after Christmas last year. Might do that again if it gets reduced. I wouldn't pay £260 for it.

I’m also a bit disappointed that the LiB discount isn’t a bit bigger; it’s still a great value calendar though if you’ll use a reasonable number of the contents.

NAP is an odd one. Some great things eg. the Westman Atelier highlight stick, the full size BS Vit C serum, but then not just the Gua Sha, but also tweezers and eyelash curlers!
Not what I am looking for in a high end calendar.

@TragicMuse yes, waiting for the Liberty email as I’ve decided to get it this year. It’s the one luxury calendar I’ve never had before, and based on the contents I think this is the year to get. I’m guessing it will sell out rather quicker than last year.

LiB calendar is almost £30 quid off (15%)
if you're a LiB pro subscriber (have to have been a subscriber for a certain number of months to qualify) - takes it to 169.15 which I think is really good value for money. This will probably be my only one this years despite having had 3-4 in previous years 😳 - much as with the GWP offers recently, they're just not as good this year (rising prices everywhere I guess).

I'm planning to order the Liberty calendar tomorrow but I was hoping the contents of the Harrods calendars would be released before then.

Those who have bought the Liberty calendar in previous years – does it ship straight away? I've bought a couple of their beauty boxes and they send them with next day delivery so I'm wondering if they do the same for the calendar?

Just had the email from Liberty with £10 off the advent calendar. I’m 50/50 about buying it as I’ve already bought the space NK one.

Caved and used my Beauty Drop for Liberty. Got enough points for a voucher now as well.
