I bought a very pretty (I think) new dress for my birthday celebrations next week. I got the turquoise one shown here

I paid much more than this for it (grrr) but I would never have bought it online as I needed to see it on me (so not so grrr!)

looks much nicer on that in that picture, and is 97% silk so feels totally gorgeous

it looks great everywhere but I have rather minor norkage and so need some kind of magically enhancing bra system to give me some help - any suggestions?

also, what style necklace would best suit this neckline? I would like to buy something handmade, either from our very talented mn crafters or on etsy but am not sure whether to go shortish of longer and danglier?

was looking at this with these earrings what do you think?

now, shoes - I would like some pewter or dark silver peeptoe shoes. Something quite 50s and glamourous - Anyone know where I could find such a pair? or have any other suggestions?

(think I may be off to buy the chocolate one from that site now, I dithered so much over turquoise vs chocolate in the shop and for £23 I think I may just take the choco too, it was gorgeous!)

oh loveangel - thanks about the dress - I saw it in a boutique window yesterday as I was driving to sainsbury's and screeched to a halt I loved it so much. It was on sale and they had my size in both turq and chocolate. I tried both on MANY times and finally the sales assisstant persuaded me to get the turquoise when she heard it was for my birthday. I wish I could sort my norks out as the neckline does look a bit, ahem, flat. While the lower body part looks delightfully curvy and I am lucky enough that my legs below the knee are quite nice (knee and above a total disaster area) so should look good in those heels. Whether i will be able to walk or not is quite another matter

jeangenie · 18/01/2008 09:50

even with my gel enhanced bra on it made no impact. The neckline is a little high so I am gonna need something that hoikes me right up. I have a skinny scrawny little above nork chest area which needs some help

yes, definately would need chicken fillets (maybe whole chickens ) with that- however is more than I paid for dress so maybe not. Is great though

There will be lots of tesco's whole chickens left to use, now that Hugh and Jamie have made them unsellable !!

Janitor

"I was fitted by Bravissimo in Covent Garden. Went from a 38C to a 32E"

I had great help with my dress dilema :
dress thread - where were you , hwen I needed you - no really, ninedragons sorted me out.
Who do we know, who could advise or 'norkage enhancing' ?

I have been searching old threads. Nothing to advise other than chicken fillets - that is what they all said.
I love my boobs. But they sound bigger than they are. Thay are in proportiont to me. I am a 14, hourglass, big boobs, tiny waist, BIG hips.
What can we do ?
I would like to be Kelly Brook, but alas.
As mmj says, its over rated, besides we can not change our shape, can we.
Plus, I am 5 2" and am happy with my height, but wouldn't mind being 5 6".
We have to make the best of what we've got.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your dress. I searched, but they don't have it in a 14

mmj = bloke with huge tits.
I will remember that image of you mmj, next time I see you post

bossykate · 18/01/2008 10:42

beautiful dress and very elegant and well chosen accessories. have a lovely time!

jeangenie · 18/01/2008 10:46

nope, I still insist I would like bigger boobs

I am 5'6" and a size 12-14 (depending) I have a huge arse, which I have grown to love, it does look very sexy in this dress I must say but I look really peculiar when the gaze drifts upwards and there is nothing there, apart from scrawniness...
hey, oblomov, why don't you call the boutique where I got mine and see if they have in 14, they might well...they are in East Dulwich number is 0208 2993939. I must say the dress is totally fab and would look really great with your figure
I think I need to take the dress into town and go to one of the big departmenmt stores and try on various gel enhanced bras with it.

Are you sure a necklace wouldn't help?
