Shopping trolley

Ok, so not the most stylish question! But wasn't sure where to ask and thought people here might know.

After lugging picnic blankets and sun umbrella + 30kg base plus picnic to DS's sports day, I have decided to buy a shopping trolley to make such things easier in future.

Obviously don't expect the parasol to fit in it. But it needs to be heavy duty so it can hold 35kg without ripping. Large sturdy wheels and also foldable for storage. Waterproof material, ideally with a choice of nice colours or patterns but that's a bonus. I think some also have insulated compartments but that's also a bonus. Definitely need an extendable handle though as I'm fairly tall and often find walking with such things awkward if just a "standard" handle designed for smaller women.

Any ideas?

Trolley yes, 20kg base NO!
Just dig parasol straight into ground, no need to lug a base.

At the sportsday we aren't allowed to do that as it damages the playing field so have to take a base. Or have no shade.

I've just checked again and blue is out of stock HmmThe black one is available
Rolser foldable
Fingers crossed

Thank you. Another year until I have to do that again and really need it. Although it would also be useful for trips in summer. Will keep an eye out in case it comes back into stock!

If I'm going to shell out for a decent one that will (I hope) last many years then I want to really like it.

But, Rolser do not specify that they don't deliver to the UK so it may be worth contacting their customer service dept.

Thank you. They sent me a welcome email to the email I used when attempting to check out so have emailed back to ask! Bloody Brexit.

A load of 30kg weights do more damage than a wee hole, never understand the preciousness about grass, not like you'll be on an open course.
I have honestly never heard of anyone lugging these to a sports day, madness 🤣

I have a rad union one. It’s quite costy though but pretty cool.

It was so hot we would all have roasted with no shade so there wasn't much choice!

These are gorgeous designs. Are they sturdy?

@Kenworthington it states the litre capacity on here but can't see anything about how much weight they can handle?

OP posts:

They just sent a lovely email back, confirming that because of Brexit and the extra charges etc they can no longer sell to the UK. 😔

You can order to places like Panama from their website but not here. What a screwed up situation!

From what you say what would be good for you are the beach trolleys. They are prepared with large wheels and an extendable handle. And the best ones can hold very heavy weights up to 50 or 60 kg. On this website you can find a lot of them https://carritoplaya.com/
Otherwise you can always buy a large shopping cart. With capacities of 60, 70 and up to 80 liters with great resistance and very strong. they serve you for the beach and go shopping. on this website there is also a good catalog https://carrosdecompraplegables.com/grandes/

I have one from IKEA that I used to use to carry beach paraphernalia- really useful when all the towels get wet! It lasted years.
