Meghan Markle style

Just saw the attached photo of MM at the polo - I love her outfit! Casual but the mixed denim is really chic and I like the structure of the shorts with the looseness of the shirt.

Two tones of the same colour seems to be a bit of a thing for her - couple more photos attached. Has anyone else noticed other style motifs with what she wears?

I agree that she nails casual chic, but then she can also really do full-powered evening glam.

I loved this black velvet dress and dark manicure, for example.

She is drop dead gorgeous and I love her style and dress sense. I loved how comfortable she looked with herself through pregnancy and post partum. I agree she looks really effortless relaxed but do love the formal too - I g tohink she wears clothes rather than them wearing her. This dress in early pregnancy is exquisite.

@AmberLynn1536
That Oscar de la Renta dress was breathtakingly lovely.
I don't get the love for the leather skirt and blouse combo.
It was grand. Nothing special.

I love her style, probably because it is similar to mine. I find her very chic

FAQs · 26/06/2022 14:38

She always looks lovely, she looks more modern than many of the other royals, beautiful lady.

Grin you sound like Nana Royle

SemperIdem · 26/06/2022 16:28

@JaneJeffer

😂 nothing wrong with Nana!

JaneJeffer · 26/06/2022 16:39

No indeed Grin

Loved the ODLR dress.
Also loved her leather skirts and most dresses upthread

Candleabra · 28/06/2022 11:27

I love her own style.

Though when she was attending royal trips she rarely looked good. Nothing seemed to fit her. It always seemed unnecessarily fussy. I assume clothes were chosen for her during this period.

She manages to look amazing in smart casual and when she adopts the less is more approach (especially with colours) looks incredible. She is so beautiful.

JaneJeffer · 28/06/2022 11:41

I think it's the hats. She doesn't suit them.

willowtree66 · 28/06/2022 12:13

I loved this outfit she wore at Wimbledon.

I always think she needs to go for a proper bra fitting. Those boat neck dresses suit her but often you they seem really tight and you can see the outline of her bra.
She needs a bra that fits better and gives a smoother outline.

dudsville · 29/06/2022 10:12

MM is beautiful and i love her style (on her it's not mine), but what i think she has is the most gorgeous smile. It doesn't look fake. I mean, it must be sometimes but i never see a pic of her with a strained looking smile. It just looks like a clear, unfussed, deeply happy smile.

You think someone picked outfits and made her wear them?

I thought Meghan was adamant that she didn’t even have a stylist.

SisforSugar · 29/06/2022 10:39

I wish I had her legs and have you seen the size of her ankles 😩 I generally like the way she dresses as she does look very chic unlike the typical frock coats and floral dresses the royals keep wearing. She looks great in pencil skirts and shirt tucked in as well and has a great figure!

Floisme · 29/06/2022 12:53

Given the way she was thrust into the role, without even the kind of 'apprenticeship' Kate had, and given current relations with the Royal Family, I'm amazed at how often she gets it right. I do have a bit of a soft spot for the royals who take more style risks but MM would never get away with that.

ChinBristles · 29/06/2022 13:02

I'd actually rather have my "chunky" legs than hers.

Julia Roberts has a similar smile.
Gorgeous.

What an unpleasant comment. Critique of her style is one thing but, if we're going down the road of making personal remarks then I'm out.

Floisme · 29/06/2022 13:15

Sorry LadyEloise1, not you, the poster before whose name I'm not even going to bother looking up.

eatsleepswimdive · 29/06/2022 13:19

She is unbelievably stylish and elegant, absolutely nails it 99.9% of the time. She's what naturally instinctively chic is, VB is not!

catandcoffee · 29/06/2022 13:30

I wear what she does and also look as good. ( in my dreams)
😀

RockStarMartini · 29/06/2022 13:51

I love how she does casual and funnily enough I've had Jennifer Aniston on my Pinterest board for years so I agree with the poster who mentioned her similar look.

I guess I aspire to dress similarly despite being a good bit shorter and a lot wider than MM. I like block colours, not much pattern, fitted shapes etc. I often feel a bit dull though rather than elegant and understated. What's the secret?

JingsMahBucket · 29/06/2022 14:55

@RockStarMartini maybe some nice accessories to brighten the outfit? Sometimes you need statement jewelry to stand out against the nice simplicity. Sometimes it’s small and delicate like Meghan wears a lot. Depends on the outfit and the person’s shape or essence/personality.
