Louis Vuitton Neverfull

I was considering getting the neverfull but I am literally seeing it everywhere now as it's really common. I love the bag and the pattern rather than the monogram version. I also love that it's roomy so you can get loads in and it also comes with a removable pouch.

Do you ladies have any suggestions for another Louis bag with a similar aesthetic but not as common? I like this one:

But I think I would prefer two handles and a bit longer so easier to get on and off the shoulder.

I have the Neverfull GM and I love it. I also don’t like having common bags but I overlooked this for the Neverfull. It’s bombproof and I love that I don’t have to worry about it. This was particularly handy when it unexpectedly became a baby bag.

I’ve just ordered the neverfull PM, in the Damier ebene. I have an MM in the azure and find it. Bit big for day to day use, so hopefully the PM will be more practical. Can’t wait for it to arrive now!

I bought my Alma in the black leather emprinte and also a limited edition never full in silver with rose print earlier in the summer.

found out overseas that LV is cheaper in Europe, even with the rubbish exchange rate. You can claim back 12.5% tax coming back to the UK from the EU. Must factor in a wish list when I go on hols!

you can now buy straps that attach to the NV, try etsy or ali express. i have some old lv from over 30 years ago and the quality was high, not now....i was in turkey in october and saw absolutely perfect high end fakes for about £130 / 150 and were better made than the authentic ones...!!..of course there were tons of cheap nasty ones for 30 quid which looked awful !

I just came on again to say I’ve bought the Neveefull GM for dd for her 18th birthday next week. She has coveted mine for years. She has NO idea she’s getting it and I am beyond excited to give it to her eeek 😊

It's a great classic bag, one you'll use all the time. I think it's just a question of biting the bullet and buying the one you love - you shouldn't care what any of us think.

PS. I might be contemplating it in the jacquard monogram

I would say the neverfull has been everywhere for the past 12/13 years and has had its day really. Too many fakes about too. Are there any other brands you like?

To you perhaps. I think bags are personal.

It's one of the most copied bags which is why you see so many of them. Most are turkey fakes!

I have one from over a decade ago and it's totally battered, used it as a work bag for years and now just for flights or beach days and I love using it in a nonchalant way. I really like the classic LV monogram, it has a vintage, timeless feel. People do think it's tacky but that's probably based on the fakes.

However for this reason I'm not sure it has the same street appeal any more. Would you consider spending a bit more and going for the empreinte leather?

Otherwise Goyard is a good option as someone suggested. Saint Laurent and Gucci do similar leather tote bags that still have the same look but less common.
