Opinions on this dress for 2nd Marriage?

Hi,
I'm getting married in September and starting to look for a dress, it's a second marriage for both of us, registry office on The Royal mile Edinburgh, thenThe Witchery, it will just be my partner and I.
'm 42, hourglass type figure so i suit a more fitted style than floaty, i would't wear the belt but was thinking of adding one of these waistbands instead ??
Any ideas?

Thanks, i wasn't sure if It was too plain but wanted to go for something understated ,i feel a bit self conscious about being a ' bride" again in my 40's

I've come back to this thread to have another look. Still love it. It's understated but also not. Yes it doesn't have frills and layers but it absolutely screams class to me. Beautiful.

I'm not having flowers but thinking maybe a bag instead, too matchy with the pearls?

Also, should i go ivory for shoes? I'm really not a fan of satin bridal shoes but i thought these look ok, or maybe i should go silver?

I really like it. I love the idea of swapping the belts. The bling one is lovely.

Could go for a coloured shoe if not wanting to go very traditional

Thanks ! I'm starting to feel excited now, with it being a registry wedding I didn't want to go ott but still feel special in a dress.

Hell woman I got married at 44 in a wedding dress!!
Though hadn't planned the arrival too well and had to walk across a shopping centre carpark with cars tooting to get to the registry office!! We had a great day!!

Will you have a jacket? I think it would look great with a jacket longer than the dress over your shoulders without putting your arms in. If you need a jacket!

Do what you are most comfortable with. I got married in the register office and wore a traditional massive wedding dress.
