Opinions on this dress for 2nd Marriage?

Hi,
I'm getting married in September and starting to look for a dress, it's a second marriage for both of us, registry office on The Royal mile Edinburgh, thenThe Witchery, it will just be my partner and I.
'm 42, hourglass type figure so i suit a more fitted style than floaty, i would't wear the belt but was thinking of adding one of these waistbands instead ??
Any ideas?

The dress is gorgeous.

I like the first belt best, a little bit of sparkle and would do silver shoes with it.

Stunning!! I'm a celebrant OP and have seen many brides of all ages, shapes and styles. This is beautiful! I love the Pearl belt and the first bag...very classy indeed 💗 The shoes are gorgeous too...but you could also go for a coloured suede (blue...red...magenta??) which would also look fantastic!

Trying to convince other half to go for something like this but he's not sold on the bow tie, so maybe just with a tie

I would go for a coloured shoe to make it more modern and so you can wear them again.
I would choose a deep scarlet or any other jewel tone -depending on your colouring

I pref first option for your fiance. Think it will go with your outfit better too

Gorgeous outfit. Love the first bag with it and either waistband would be lovely. Would definitely go for statement shies though. Something bright and fun.

It’s lovely, but please don’t get het up about your age!! 40s are still young! Wear what makes you feel the best. I would get some shoes you would wear again. I’ve not worn my wedding dress again, but I do wear the shoes and they make me happy every time I wear them!

We are Scottish so Dp has worn a kilt to lots of weddings before, and my ex wore a kilt when we got married
