Where oh where can I find a COTTON summer dress?

For context, I'm 54 and just looking for something floral and pretty to wear to my daughter's graduation.

Everything I find seems to be made of cheap man-made material which will make me sweat (even more than usual!)

Any ideas? I have looked in M & S, White Stuff, Boden, Cotton Traders and Next so far. Help!

People on here give it a hard time but Seasalt do cotton and linen things I think. Also the fair trade companies like People Tree perhaps.

Matalan had some nice summery stuff in when I looked yesterday, lots of cotton type floaty bits. I was really surprised by the quality.

M&S have loads! Just put cotton dress in your search. Some of them are really lovely. H&M also have some nice cotton dresses. You just have to be specific with the search on their websites.

I bought the Linen/cotton button back dress and it's fab - v flattering.

Possibly not smart enough for what you are after but I have lovely cotton dresses from Monki.

Thought clothing have lovely cotton dresses. They're a bit ££ but I've found a quite a few on ebay too.

I'm a big fan of ASOS. They have a filter for "responsible" which allows you to select either recycled or sustainable materials for any items, plus they have a huge range (it's an online department store so loads of different brands) and free delivery/returns.

H&M have a pretty decent selection of cotton dresses - you can filter the dresses by fabric on the website.
