Where oh where can I find a COTTON summer dress?

For context, I'm 54 and just looking for something floral and pretty to wear to my daughter's graduation.

Everything I find seems to be made of cheap man-made material which will make me sweat (even more than usual!)

Any ideas? I have looked in M & S, White Stuff, Boden, Cotton Traders and Next so far. Help!

Don't rule out viscose as that is a natural fabric that's non sweaty.

M&S & Boden have lots of cotton! I think op has not looked properly! Have several cotton dresses sitting in my wardrobe from both of them. And Cos.

Also Rixo are great. Net A Porter stocks them. Not cheap but special and some are cotton.

Also tencel- lovely, silky fabric but harder wearing than silk.

What a beautiful dress - perfect for a summer occasion but well outside of my price range. The difference in cut, quality and style between low end and high end store clothes is unreal.

I have got to the stage in life where I would like to buy only quality clothes. However this would mean my wardrobe would look incredibly sparse.

I wouldn't have thought of looking there but there are some lovely, wearable every day dresses there.

Hi OP I’m looking for a dress for DD’s graduation too. I’m 51 and was looking at Boden online yesterday. Loads of dresses there and offered in various prints too, lots cotton. I haven’t settled on one yet.
