Which one would a 16 year old girl like best?

I was given the top one as a leaving present by work friends about 25 years ago, and I have worn it at least once a week ever since. It is a proper classic.

Didn't know they were back in. I sold my stuff after the legally blond films. They've come up a lot!

i can't believe the price increases! One that cost me £195 is now over £600!

I find Tiffany very meh these days. It's so mass produced and on every other person. Why not by her something more bespoke from a jewellery designer?

Tbh I have seen more imaginative and creative pieces than this at Claire's.

My dd 15 has the double heart one but in rose gold (instead of blue) and wears it daily. I think the first one is a bit "older woman".

Also can people just stop with the "Claire's accessories/have something specially made" etc comments. The OP asked which TIFFANY necklace people think a 16yo will prefer. Claire's accessories is tacky as hell and a teenager
probably wouldn't be seen dead in a necklace designed by her mum.

Get real people.

Would you also consider vintage Tiffany? I bought some beautifully solid pieces from EBay/FB Marketplace

The first one as it’s a classic.

Considering the price rises, it is more of an investment than 'buying'. The necklace I bought a friend 6 years ago for £120 is now £335!

Sorry, it's £220, not £335, but still a £100 price increase in 6 years

We bought DD1 the silver disc version with her inital on for her 18th, she's never taken it off.

I think they're both a safe bet.

Why can't people grasp that at 16 it will be the brand that appeals to them and a cheaper alternative which may look identical just isn't going to cut it!

Would you suggest that they buy Lidl trainers instead of a recognised brand such as Nike or Adidas?

I like the first one , a simple heart .

I used to have a few Tiffany pieces but prefer Alex Monroe at the moment .

My 17 year old would prefer the second. They want people to know what they are wearing is branded.

Double heart one for 16 year old definitely. A word of caution though. My daughter had the double heart one in pink and sons gf the blue heart one and both colour pieces dropped out. Tiffany did replace no questions asked but the new pink one dropped out again. My daughter then opted for the two silver hearts on the third try!! She wears it everyday, never really takes it off and it has stayed in good condition.

Neither- the Elsa one is not your classic Tiffany and I don't like the colour on the other. The one I've seen people wear are this one

www.tiffany.co.uk/jewelry/necklaces-pendants/return-to-tiffany-mini-double-heart-tag-pendant-22309307/ but there is one with a heart and key which is nice too.

For over £300, they both look like absolute tat.

A little decadent I know, but if finances allow, could you buy both and return one?! She could spend the day choosing without the exam disruption of going into London!

The open heart is definitely classic Tiffany, it’s been available for decades! Mine is from the mid-90s, for instance.

Return to Tiffany one. The other one looks like you could have picked it up in Elizabeth Duke in 2010. Not worth £330 of anyones money if it's not instantly identifiable as a designer piece!

The double heart but in just silver, rather than with the colour. I'd only buy the heart if you were positive she'd like it.

I've got this circle one agree much more than 16, and almost never take it off.

While neither would be my teen's style, I think the open heart one is TOO timeless - it's a bit fusty for a teen nowadays, surely?

The blue double heart tag feels much cooler and more modern.

You absolutely know her best, so is Tiffany her style? Instantly recognisable classic/traditional brand name? Because you're paying a premium of about £280 for the brand name ONLY so you need to be sure she's not going to just silently slide it into a drawer and never speak of it again!

Some teens might prefer something a little cooler from an independent creative like:
