CrushWithEyeliner · 10/01/2008 19:06

jordan "stunning" - disgusting

poshwellies · 10/01/2008 19:06

Miss sixty's perfume is pretty vile-dd seems to have used half a stinking bottle in a matter of days-tis all I can smell and taste atm

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/01/2008 19:09

I loathe Chanel No 5. My mum wears it and it makes me feel ill if I go near her it's so revolting.

elliemac · 10/01/2008 19:10

Had a squirt of Sarah Jessica Parkers one the other day - Have smelt better air freshners!

BettySpaghetti · 10/01/2008 19:46

yama -I was give a bottle of Samsara years ago which has been sitting around in a cupboard as I never wore it (too headache inducing). I put it on freecycle recently and was inundated by requests for it.

Beauregard · 10/01/2008 19:48

rantinghousewife · 10/01/2008 19:53

Blue grass? Really, do they still make it?

lizandlulu · 10/01/2008 19:57

kate moss's smells like sweat in a bottle imo.

RUMPEL · 10/01/2008 20:01

ANGEL - barf barf barf. I have to leave shops when people are wearing this as it induces migraine and vomit.

When I was working (BC) I had to 'ask' my students to refrain form wearing it in my classes as it affects me so much.

I am pg at the mo' so everything is vomit inducing.

One of the worst things is when people wear perfume all the time they lose their sense of smell of it and put more on. yesterday I was eating a sandwich in a shopping mall and this woman walked by - God I was nearly retching! She must have doused herself with the bottle And I have to hold my breath when I walk past the Perfume Shop - bleurgh.

All the 'celebrity' perfumes are particulalry minging though!

Madoldcatlady · 10/01/2008 20:03

It seems I have vile taste in perfume.

Just about every fragrance I've ever worn is listed on here.

Samsara, Poison, Obsession, Angel, Kenzo Flowers, Alien, I've had them all.

I decided to break from my usual type recently and bought be delicious but it seems that honks too!

I'm now on Obsession Night which I think is lovely (in small quantities as it can be strong).

Go on, tell me you all hate that too

Might go and get some of Kate Moss's new one. I'll probably love it.

Wilkie · 10/01/2008 20:27

Good God! I have never felt sick at the scent of any perfume.
Now, the smell of the great unwashed public Au natural....barf!
I don't care what you douse yourself in just make sure you bloody wash!

dejags · 10/01/2008 20:39

Anything Jean-Paul Gaultier.... boak

Red Door by Elizabeth Arden.... double boak

expatinscotland · 10/01/2008 20:42

That Kylie stuff.

Pass the bucket.

Frizbe · 10/01/2008 20:43

that Brittany stuff, yuk!

serin · 10/01/2008 20:48

I had to ask a colleague if she wouldn't mind laying off the Anais Anais (didn't know they still made that either!) as it was triggering my asthma.

I am hopelessly addicted to the smell of Persil gel tablets, the closest I can get to perfume!!

TheOldestCat · 10/01/2008 20:52

Louii - you have really made me laugh with your 'exclamation' reminder. I too 'made a statement without saying a word'. Loved the literal bottle too.

louii · 10/01/2008 21:43

Tramp, that was another classic.

I love Issey Miyake(sp), unfortunately it smells like bad B.O on me.

Jackstini · 10/01/2008 22:19

Admit I did used to like Dolce & Gabanna (yes the red one) but you only need 1 millilitre to set you up for a big night. It is most recognisable and should not ever be worn in the day. Even now I smell women who probaly put it on 2 days ago wandering round Tesco....
Not sure whether it is great value for money or just something wrong with it!

staryeyed · 10/01/2008 22:31

Another vote for chanel no 5. My mum has been wearing it for years. It is literally sick making-as kids we used refuse to get in the car if my mum was wearing her perfume because it made us sick. Why anyone would think that disgusting smell is nice is beyond me.
