I need a not too weddingy wedding dress - help?

I'm going to two weddings in August, one is a Midsummer Night's Dream fairy theme (they're extremely nice people, no judgement here) and one is mine.

I want something floaty and effortless that I can wear with trainers. The fairy one we're just going to the evening. Mine is tiny and secret and will just be DP, me and kids with a very fancy lunch after.

I'm short and wide. 5'1 and a size 20. I don't have pleasant legs and I don't want to wear tights so it needs to be maxi to the floor.

I like the first one, but not the second as a bit too weddingy? Also, I'd quite like long billowy sleeves.

That's nice but a bit too weddingy in it's material and not billowy of sleeve enough. But thank you!

I'm not stuck on white or cream. Though the dresses I like seem to be 'light'. Beigey is fine.

The sleeves on this are PREFECT.

I think to avoid chiffon as too bridesmaid /weddingy

Hmm, it might be tricky to avoid chiffon and still get the floaty sleeves you're after. Perhaps it might be better to get a jacket/bolero with the floaty sleeves and team with a different dress?
