no - you can wear vile colour combos and somehow it will all work. Have got a tweedy coat with olive green, sky blue, orange, brown and grey in - honestly sounds like psychadelic cat sick on paper but is lovely in real life.

Agree probably best to leave the teal tights as a statement on its own, start co-ordinating with accent colours, albeit top, earrings or handbag, then you're in my nan's territory, I'm afraid.

some clashes work. but i hate navy and brown.

dividedselfridgesxmaswindow · 09/01/2008 16:58

Chocolate and black don't go.

Was surprised when trinny and susannah said that black and dark brown are co-ordinating colours. It just looks like you can't be arsed, imo.

choc and pale green - you would look like a chocolate lime sweet (or a slice of key lime pie)

choc and pale blue - hmmm, not something I would put together

Fuschia and turquoise/bright green great combo, but perhaps a bit dated, like all the matthew williamson knock offs about 5 years ago. I love wearing this colour combo in summer (not in winter, would feel wrong)

kittylouise · 09/01/2008 17:09

someone just looked over my shoulder at the odd little flower kid and spluttered.

MamaG · 09/01/2008 22:12

Cod are you sure your tights were grey? Were they not donkey?

SSSandy2 · 09/01/2008 23:06

I would look fabulous in that fuchsia and green flower outfit. Where can you get them?!
