Hi,

So was at the hairdressers recently and had the following...

Gloss colour just at the root to cover grey
A toner mid lengths to ends
Olaplex treatment
Trim and blow dry (or cut and finish)

What would you expect to pay?

About £80 at mine, midrange hairdressers in a cheap area (NW England)

earsup · 03/03/2022 16:57

About £100....they do charge a lot for the olaplex so that puts up the price.

tootiredtobother · 03/03/2022 16:59

friend of mine has just had similar, 4 hours in the chair, shoulder length, £120 north Oxfordshire
box job does me

YellowAndGreenToBeSeen · 03/03/2022 17:00

About £180 at mine. It’s £250 for that and balayage.

NutCheeseBag · 03/03/2022 17:01

£85 to £100 east Scotland (not Edinburgh)

SoupGiveMeSoup · 03/03/2022 17:01

£80 and upward. I think my Olaplex treatment is £10 but it depends on the length of your hair. Mine is bra strap length which means I need more product than someone with much shorter hair. For me roots, cut and blow dry is £45 I think, for some highlight foils through to bring some of my blonde higher up add £20, again my hair is long.

How on earth do ordinary people afford these things?

Amelion · 03/03/2022 17:51

£200 or so at my local well-rated salon (London).

Be around £90 where I live

I get a dry cut and no colour because I certainly can't afford this.
