I love the double string of pearls and her beautiful engagement and diamond set wedding rings but I’m not really keen on the ruby tiara 😳. It can’t help but think designs similar to that always look like they’ve been made out of Quality street wrappers. I like a nice clean cut dazzler 😂

This is the poor girls version of Mary's wedding set, I'd forgotten I had this pic until just now. My 20th wedding anniversary ruby ring with my Mum's 60th anniversary diamond ring that she's not letting me have yet I'd bet my hands look older than Mary's close up though

Ingrid of Norway has been out and about a bit as she's just turned 18. I think she resembles her aunt Martha Louise a lot but could also join Kate, Mary and Marie as a junior member of the Lookalike Brunette Princesses Club!

Ingrid of Norway looks lovely. 18 is a tricky age to dress quite formally, and she pulls it off I think, looking youthful but smart. It definitely going to confuse me in the brunette who’s who though😊.
The rings are beautiful, Frugalkitty. I love rubies, they are all 3 of my dd’s birthstone, mine is emerald which I adore. I hope you’ve got matching earrings on your wish list 😊

It was Sophie Wessex’s birthday yesterday (57?) and she seems to have spent it helping at a vaccination centre. Good on her.
(Weirdly, I think that green is a nice colour on her 🙈)

A family shot of the Norwegian royals on Ingrid's 18th birthday. Pairing a white dress with black tights is an interesting choice but maybe that's what all the youngs are doing these days!

Does anyone else follow Royal style- fashion and jewels on FB? it's very interesting.

Today I've been reading about Queen Victoria's small diamond crown. She had it made to wear over her widows cap after the death of Prince Albert.
It may have been small but contained 132 carots of diamonds in total. It was considered ok to wear diamonds whilst in mourning but coloured stones were frowned upon.
I think most people remember Victoria as a sad Queen who mourned her beloved Albert all of her later life, so I love this picture of her looking quite the temptress.
And look at the size of the diamonds in that necklace. It's similar to one Max wears. I wonder if any of you know where it is these days.

I'm not quite sure about MM's dress at closer look. At first glance it's a good colour and her waist looks great. When you look again either she needs a different bra or the top is a little too tight.

Not a fan of Sylvia and white tights with the red dress either
