Footner isn’t working - have I got hooves?

I applied Footner on Saturday night and had glorious visions of peeling swathes of skin off my dry feet to reveal baby soft skin. But, three nights later, not much has actually happened! My feet are more dry than they were before and a big crack has opened up in my heel.

I read a lot before applying the Footner, soaking and drying my feet before putting it on and soaking them a couple of times since but still nothing. Are my feet beyond saving?!

Soak and don’t moisturise I thought?

Footner left all my hard skin. I have up and now just go to the podiatrist every 8 weeks for the hard skin to be razored off and sanded smooth. My trotters used to cause me a lot of bother between dry hard skin becoming itchy at night and the hard skin being prone to blisters. Now I can walk for hours with no sign of a blister and I never have to worry about my feet being presentable. Costs me £39 a session but for me it’s an absolute bargain and I wish I’d started going years ago.

@Mercurial123

Footner took the soft skin but kept the hard. Personally I wouldn't bother again. A decent footfile is better (for me).
more or less same for me....useless....i used the foot file and applied cream and then cling film...did for several nights and now all ok !!

I have flakes! However, it’s the bits that weren’t particularly awful that are peeling off. My hoof heels are still hooves!

Footner left me with cracks in my heels. I use Margaret Dabbs foot file and her cracked heel cream to keep well moisturised. Will never use Footner again.

As mentioned up thread flexitol is fantastic for dry heels
