A little seasonal fun...
The BBC News have got a nice article about the pantomime costumes worn by Elizabeth and Margaret when they were teenagers putting on the Royal Christmas Pantos.
The costumes are part of an exhibition being staged at Windsor Castle. The BBC photos are lovely, and show how well made the intricate costumes, using beautiful fabrics, are.
A far cry from Am Dram at the village hall!

I thought the very same - she's in Sweden fgs even colder than here in Ireland.
Perhaps the hospital is very well heated ?

My Swedish BIL always takes an extra jumper when he comes to visit us.

(Our house is generally colder than most people enjoy since the Newfie and the children are rubbish at shutting doors.)

The heat's on high at Maireas Manor, but I'm still well covered and besleeved. Mind you, the last time I was in a hospital it was about 28°c, so maybe Swedish hospitals are similarly balmy. Nice outfit, though.

Some chancer on eBay is selling the pink Hobbs coat Kate wore the other day for £695! You can see from the photos that it's actually bright pink rather than raspberry.

I don't like the settings for the pearls at all. Looks tarnished, the necklace looks like something from the Adams family or the Munsters

I love Daisy's pearls, including the setting. I prefer jewellery not to be too 'shiny' (except diamonds, obvs!).

Love both of CPV's recent looks - those a-line skirts look great on her. She always seems very calm and composed.

Sophie out and about today. Her hair is looking lovely, but I'm not sure her outfit works. The top and bottom halves don't go. The leather jacket is Prada. I think the blouse and jacket would have worked, but not with those teal trousers, which were the wrong colour and 'weight', IMO.

They had plenty of the pink coats in Hobbs in Reading yesterday and also in the Hobbs bit of John Lewis (all in the Black Friday offer) not in my size though sadly!

Sophie is looking great, lovely hair and makeup, but her clothes are a bit hit and miss. I like the jacket but not with the trousers. I think she suits softer silhouettes personally.

Sophie really suits longer hair. She looks great. I think she too has had a bit of work done.

I agree about Sophie’s outfit, MotherofPearl. If the trousers had been a teal a-line skirt in a winter weight fabric I think it would have looked a lot better.

My friend Sophie's age a tall willowy small boobed friend has a leather jacket she wears with jeans, she looks great with her boyish figure, whereas in my big chested case not so much

I still love them and am happy with my haul! I chuckled reading the blog where it says it "nestles well into her signature updo"!
I so agree on the small of boob looking good in leather jackets - I am larger of nork and only average height and kind of look dumpy in them not that it stops me from wearing them
