M&S Sparks card

Are there no clothing offers with this any more or am I doing something wrong? All I have is £10 off Gary Barlow tickets Grin and some lifestyle discount. Don't even get in-store vouchers for food shops now.
I've been holding off buying a pair of jeans, In the hope of % off.

They should have a 'I don't want this offer' option so you could delete shitty offers (Gazza!) from your page. It would give them useful feedback as to how to tailor their promotions more effectively.

Yep, 19 more days here too.

I have £5 off clothing or beauty. If they offered me some free mince pies I'd probably go into the shop and actually buy something with it!

I capitulated and did my shopping without a money off offer, much against my better judgement but impatience got the better of me. The express checkout meant I couldn't use my triple points coupons either. Sighs.

M&S did a survey about the Sparks card about a year or so ago. I guess getting some freebies now and again is appealing but only if you get them!

Me too but at least it's now 17 days. Who does their research? Why are they so convinced that all their customers are in the thrall of Gary sodding Barlow? I just want reduced knickers and cakes. Or cheese.

I think the secret is to not spend very much there and use the card less then they'll want to get you back with loads of offers.

Anyway, that's my theory for still having Gary Barlow and nothing else for weeks.

It is a crap scheme. I shop a lot there but feel their card is a pointless waste of time compared to that of Tesco for instance. I don't want to have a free movie or 10% off a ticket. Or a packet of sweets. I want 5% off my shopping. Or any percent really!

I've got a €5 off a €35 spend on food. I'd get that anyway on a till receipt. Someone got paid big money for the Sparks idea/implementation. 🙄
You have to wonder what that product meeting looked like. The one where they persuaded a team that you could operate a successful loyalty card scheme with virtually no benefits.

I swear even the staff look embarrassed now when you point out there are no benefits to the sparks card. They mumble something about some customer getting free shopping one time.

I gave up on this silly card a long yime ago. The new Lidl card, however, provides a useful and substantial discount.

I've heard the plus app is good we don't actually shop at Lidl (.we use ocado).but I'll have a bit more free time in Jan so thinking of trying Lidl. Apparently you get £10 off if you spend £200 a month? We are more like £200 a week at ocado 😱

Yes, it's the Lidl plus card. You just download the app. Now thinking I did spend £200 plus as I bought a heated airer too.
There are other vouchers and codes too.
It's very straightforward (unlike Marks).
