M&S Sparks card

Are there no clothing offers with this any more or am I doing something wrong? All I have is £10 off Gary Barlow tickets and some lifestyle discount. Don't even get in-store vouchers for food shops now.
I've been holding off buying a pair of jeans, In the hope of % off.

I royally hacked off now. Still nothing other than the 10% of flowers!

I reckon the algorithm is set to entice less frequent M&S shoppers. I guess if you're a regular, they think they can rely on you buying stuff from them anyway!

Ever since this thread appeared, I keep obsessively checking to see what my offers are and am feeling an inordinate degree of OUTRAGE at how my loyalty to M&S is being IGNORED!! Sorry Gazza mate, you just don't do it for me.

DS2 can do without his fecking Mighty Meaty Pasta (which apparently is much nicer than my 'fake' homemade version) AND he can do without his sushi (tried making this too, but it was like chewing on rolls of roofspace insulation). See how you like that, Marks and Spencer!

Gosh, I only have a 10% off clothes. So ordered the necessary school uniform from elsewhere!

I haven't had any good offers in months but currently have 10percent off clothing so used it for really boring stock up of pants tights and socks 🤣

They used to do a 20% off Friday coming up to Christmas. You'd get an email and print it off
Now just a measly 10% off and some stupid offer on theIr shiny new feck all use but probably cost a fortune to develop Sparks card.

I was standing outside M&S this morning checking my offers still bloody Gary Barlow before I went in and spent £70 in the food hall and not even a free packet of Percey Pigs🙁🙁

I didn't even get the Gary Barlow discount. All I've had is a discount off a film and something to do with insurance. Not a free Percy Pig blanket to be seen😂

Ah, my bad. There's Gary B waiting for me on the app. I'd rather the Percy pigs🤣

I see they're pushing the sparks advent calendar as a way of accessing offers now but I'm not downloading the app, its all getting too complicated and boring with M&S now.

Gary Barlow here too. In recent months I've had some fitness app thing and a free movie from somewhere with terrible choices. Nothing else.

In the past if I left things in my basket I might be offered a sweetener to check out (£10 off). Not seen this in months.

M&S recently posted good profits and one of the newspapers commented that M&S had 'finally weaned their customers off the 20% offers'. So don't expect things to change soon.

I just went on the app and there are loads of offers! I guess they're available for everyone? But there are loads of 20, 30 and 40% off offers. Across beauty, clothing and home.

I only have the Gazza Bazza offer (bleurgh!) and a one time use 15% off offer.

I was a bit confused to be honest, I'd forgotten that winning all your shopping was even possible!

It obviously doesn't happen often though, the checkout staff were as shocked as me and acted like I'd won the lottery! Somebody started clapping!

So it doesn’t happen every week at every store like they say then if the staff are surprised.

Dh, who never uses his, has a pack of free mince pies.

I gave up on this silly card a long yime ago.
The new Lidl card, however, provides a useful and substantial discount.

I think M&S may have been looking at this thread as a '20% off clothing' voucher has just popped up on my sparks.

First thing I've had for about 6 months - apart from Gazza - and I spend lots in M&S

Gazza is still kicking around on mine. Plus the 50p off a copy of the TV Times.

Just checked and no offers, not even Gary Barlow. There is an advent calendar with daily offers and surprises coming soon.

I gave up on Sparks a couple of years back. If a loyalty card doesn’t start strong it goes, or you can end up with hundreds!

I wish it was simple like the Boots loyalty card.

Some "genius" in M& said "Let's have a Loyalty card. Liue other companies have done for years. Nooo, sillies we won't make it nice and simple like Boots or Tesco. Let's make it a really complicated card. With lots of faff."

Et voila Sparks was born. 🙄

The charity donation aspect is nice I must admit.

Did have a run of nice freebies earlier in the year.

I've only had Gary for weeks, having previously had at least a bag of Percy Pigs or a similar freebie on a monthly basis. I had some discounts off gym membership & English Heritage a while ago which I ignored...

I was getting miffed - especially as they keep telling me I'm the third highest spending M&S shopper in my town or something like that - but 20% off clothing came through yesterday. They just saved themselves with that. I was about to be their first highest ex-shopper
