Help to decide on a dress to wear to my Xmas party please? Pics

Hi, I’d really appreciate helping me decide which dress to wear and whether the boots are ok too?

Please say if neither is ok, this is not a ball type affair, just a smart evening venue. I rather boots than shoes but please say if boots are not appropriate or whether the colour is not right. I have boots in lots of colours so could change the colour if necessary.

Number one for me, it’s lovely and a bit unusual.

No.1 just feels a bit more ‘Christmassy’ so I’d go with that one.

The second one with opaque tights

I like number 1 too, but not sure on the boot length. I'd think either black heels or knee high dressy black boots with a leather jacket would be ideal

I’m not a fan of mixed patterns, but for a Christmas do I think number one with those boots is grand. Personally, I’d go for the black and white one, with a block colour jacket for colour.

Both would be fine but first one seems more festive. Could you post a pick of no 1 with the black boots, side by side with a pick with the yellow ones?

Number 1 is really unflattering and a weird length. Don’t like the mustard boots. Number 2 is nicer and more evening.

Or you could try 2nd dress, sheer black patterned tights with the yellow boots.

Thanks all, the fact that the dresses are wrap that may have the tendency to fall open when I’m sitting is putting me off anyway.

I think this skirt and top look lovely together!

The first one is too summery for me, I’d go for number 2 with dark tights and the boots.

I like the skirt and top combo.

The dresses are much more flattering.

My personal choice would be dress number 2. Although I like the colours of dress 1, I’m not keen on the mix of patterns.

Really like the skirt, but don't think it works terribly well with the tucked in top.

Dress number two. I love the boots in number one but not keen on the dress. You don't look comfy in the skirt and top, and the top hides your great boobs.

I think dress no: 1 is more a lunch time dress and the skirt and jumper will just look like a jumper when you’re sitting down.

So - still #2 with opaque tights
