Hi, I’d really appreciate helping me decide which dress to wear and whether the boots are ok too?

Please say if neither is ok, this is not a ball type affair, just a smart evening venue. I rather boots than shoes but please say if boots are not appropriate or whether the colour is not right. I have boots in lots of colours so could change the colour if necessary.

I would go dress 2 with yellow boots and a yellow bag!

Dress 2 for sure.

I think Dress 1 is more summery, and I'm not a fan of the yellow boots.

I’m Team Dress One, but with darker boots - don’t think the mustard are a flattering length. Sorry op, with all these conflicting opinions you will be sorry you asked, lol

Okay, right I’m going with dress number 2, opaque tights and the boots. I just need to make sure I can sit down comfortably without the tiny wrap buttons popping open, little safety pins will have to be used to make sure I stay decent.

Thank you all, it so hard dressing when you are short, dumpy and almost 50. I’ve lost my way...

Or I have black wedge court heels I can wear with the dress, I guess it would be sheer tights then though or tanned bare legs?

I like option 3 but unstuck the top. I see you are going with 2 which is nice too but the v seems too a little low not low as in too much cleavage just unflattering low.
