Throwing this out to those FAR more knowledgeable than me about fragrance ( I know there are loads of you on here) ... I want to buy something citrussy and have a budget of £60 max. I tend to use Arden green tea mostly, I love there smell but it only lasts about 5 mins on me!!! Not only for me but as a gift too, same budget. Any ideas?

@Lizardcentral

Try Agua de Colonia by Alvarez Gomez, fresh citrusy and long lasting.
You beat me to it! Smells great and such a fabulous price on Amazon.

There are these chalky stone things and you put some drops of oil on it. Then you put it inside the cage. I use different stones for different oils. I am using one with eucalyptus oil on at the moment because I am bunged up. I also love lime and mandarin.

Thank you.
Do you get them online or can you get them in an actual shop ?

shrugitoff · 07/11/2021 17:54

Molecule04 is citrussey

@shrugitoff I bought mine from Amazon. There is another online seller but they are very expensive. I don't know about shops I'm afraid.

Ortigia Sicilian perfumes are wonderfully citrus. Not easily found but on line, but also in Liberty, Selfridges and some independents.

Cristalle Eau Verte is lovely and lasts.
If you can get hold of it, Mary Greenwell Lemon is divine.

Has anyone ever tried Lanvin’s A Girl in Capri? I just came across it today and wondered, it sounds wonderful, lemony sea with amber. Would like to know more about it and I can’t get to the shops for a while.

Love reading all your suggestions as I love a citrus perfume, my faves are CK1, Clinique Happy and CKIN2U.

CKIN2U is citrussy and so lovely. Its been around for years, super cheap, and always gets compliments.
