Hello all

26 weeks pregnant here and I've come to the end of wearing all the stretchier clothes I already had in my wardrobe.

Bought a few maternity things online from boohoo (all sent back) and checked out the mat section in the Oxford Street primark. I have been reluctantly wearing the baggy see through maternity leggings and tights from there (🤢) and the jeans I bought just feel like they are falling down all the time. They are the ones that have a different material for the bump so there's like a cut off section just below my arse and it's so uncomfortable.

I splashed put on some dungarees from mama jojo but I just look like a bag of spuds. And they are uncomfortable.

I don't like baggy tops, never have. I have ample bust (32JJ) big hips and comparatively small waist. Im a size 16. If I wear baggy tops I look awful. I like tops that cup the bust, iyswim, so there is definition between them and my tummy.

I just want some good quality jeggings, jeans, tights, leggings. I want some tops that are flattering, I like people to know I'm pregnant and be able to see the bump.

I love jumpsuits and the idea of dungarees. Is there such a thing as tight fitting, wide legged dungarees??

I would like to go actual physical shopping but no shops seem to have maternity sections and if they do they are tiny and shit. Happy to buy online too if someone can vouch for quality! Can't afford seraphine prices.

Topshop Jamie maternity jeans are good (for me anyway!)

It's a long while since I was pregnant OP but in my experience the best thing you can do is invest in a capsule maternity wardrobe. 9mths is a long time really & it's a time of such change in so many ways that feeling good in how you look is a real boost.

I worked in a job where I had to be smart throughout my pregnancy and once i we safely over the first trimester I bought a load of things in Formes (long gone now but it was fantastic) & seraphine & I bought a pair of brilliant 7forallmankind maternity jeans which I lived in

As a pp said proper maternity clothes are far more flattering & fit where they should whilst hugging the bump

I'd look out for good quality things on eBay or similar & i'd build a small mix & match wardrobe

I lived in Love Leggings and jeans, tshirts and jumpers were all from H&M.

There’s some brilliant and cheap stuff on Vinted. I’ve sold a lot of my maternity clothes that I didn’t get much wear out of, and if I have another, I will definitely be buying from there!

You make a very good point. A capsule wardrobe is the way forward I think. A few good quality peices from ebay or vented...Will get looking at vinted immediately!

Definitely try vinted, I bought a lot of maternity wear from there.

After 3 pregnancies I’ve found that Asda jeggings are the best. I found tops in Sainsburys and H&M to be decent and H&M for the tights. Some bigger H&M stores stock the maternity range in store as well, and if you look on the asda website they tell you which stores stock maternity clothing as not all do.

My asda jeggings came and I LOVE THEM. Will be ordering more! Also the knickers...I am in love. I have leggings there to try on too but I have high hopes and will be buying from asda again!

Also got a lovely top from frugi which I am keeping. The top I bought on vinted from Jojo doesn't fit well but it was only £3.

Git a few more bits to come I the post but wanted to thank you all x

The jeggings weren't from Asda...I think they were from sainsburys...just trying to locate them and will link!
