Is available on Thursday in store and online apparently.

@NumaNumaYay

Not massively overjoyed to get another handcream as I never use them up (I'm always doing stuff with my hands or about to wash them, it seems! ) but this one is nice.

I'd like to say despite this I think it's a great calendar so far. No not everything I'd choose but that's the point of a surprise calendar! Everything is decent size or quality.

Was telling a relative abroad about the beauty calendar and she thought you'd get a tiny sachet of moisturiser or a scratch and sniff perfume - was impressed to see the full size stuff (although I think she was still thinking advent cals are a few quid!)

In my previous ones I've had a "tool" like a crystal nail file or powder brush, maybe an egg sponge. So wonder if we've got one of those to come.
I'd love the Rosie Lipglossy again but they have discontinued it!

Yes I liked the nail file, have it somewhere

The box was very big again but suppose they all fit together

I will use the hand lotion but shame it's the same fragrance as the shower gel Sad

AmethystMoonShine · 15/12/2021 16:43

Love the hand lotion. Used it today and my hands are lovely and soft and it wasn't greasy. Great smell too, but then I like the shower gel of the same scent. Loving the calendar so far. For the price it wins hands down for me in terms of quality of products. I also like the small sizes as I use them for traveling.

rosegoldwatcher · 15/12/2021 18:25

Not bothered either way with hand cream but, whatever is in the box, a surprise present is a great start to the day.

I'm just about resigned to not eye-up the shape and size of the box in anticipation of what might be in it. (Was convinced that yesterday's would be perfume and today's long and thin box would contain mascara.)

RampantIvy · 15/12/2021 21:02

I think I am in the minority in that I like most of the products so far this year. I have the kind of hair that will benefit from the hair products, and I don't wear much make up. I also use a lot of hand cream. I even like the eye liner from the other day.

Countmeout · 16/12/2021 06:32

Yes have to say I’ve been pleased so far. Mostly things I will use.

Talisin · 16/12/2021 06:40

Ooh yay! Like todays treat.

RampantIvy · 16/12/2021 06:58

Me too. A winner for me.

MrsWidgerysLodger · 16/12/2021 06:59

Love today's! Colour is really good for me and it just glides on.

Bavarois · 16/12/2021 07:02

This is nice! A very wearable colour, festive but would work all year too.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 16/12/2021 07:12

Oooh, I love a tinted lip balm, and this is a lovely, wearable colour!

HollyHocks13 · 16/12/2021 07:43

This is great! Since the pandemic I've started wearing tinted lip balms instead of lipstick so I'm pleased with this. It's a great colour too 😊

lightningstrikes · 16/12/2021 07:50

Very happy with today's! A colour I can wear and seems very moisturising so far. Really pleased!

Orcadianrythyms · 16/12/2021 08:03

Love this - it's more pigmented than many tinted lip balm and feels great. I love these when working from home as you can slap on frequently. For years I've been a max factor lipfinity fan as it really does last all day but it feels drying at home so I'm pleased with this.

Lowlifeinhighplaces · 16/12/2021 08:07

I too like the colour feels quite creamy, good choice. However I would not purchase make up made in China.

Lowlifeinhighplaces · 16/12/2021 08:10

Should of added I noticed the other M&S product was also made in China, wonder if all M&S branded goods are?

Helpstopthepain · 16/12/2021 08:32

Just tried today’s on my hand, I like it!
I’m definitely glad that I got the calendar, even the bits I’m not bothered about will get used and the wow bits are really wow! I’ll definitely be buying a few products again.

HollyHocks13 · 16/12/2021 08:40

Same! I've worn Lipfinity for years but since working from home have swapped to tinted lip balms like this one.. feels nicer at home and wearing a mask when out they're easy to reapply quickly without a mirror 😊
latedecember1963 · 16/12/2021 08:51

I liked yesterday's hand lotion because as a PP remarked it doesn't leave my hands gloopy.
Today's lip balm is a winner for me too. I loved the Rosie H-W lipbalm from a few years back called Supermodel Smile and repurchased several times. I even bought spares when I heard it was being discontinued which I've been eeking out. I think this will be a good substitute.
Yesterday's hand lotion was £3.00 and today's lip balm is £10.00 so our running total is now £165.33.

NumaNumaYay · 16/12/2021 08:58

This looks promising, possibly a replacement for the mourned Lipglossy. I'd look for a different shade but this is decent.

NumaNumaYay · 16/12/2021 08:59

@latedecember1963 that's the one i liked! Was so cross they discontinued it.

LizzieSiddal · 16/12/2021 09:07

I’m really pleased with this, I normally use a no7 lip stain plus gloss which is a very similar colour, but I really like the way this goes on and does not feel dry (which is how lipsticks always make me feel.)

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 16/12/2021 09:12

I like today's but it's very sheer and seems to be the exact colour of my lips so there's not much impact. However, it feels nice on and it'll be very handy for daytime use.

Lipsandlashes · 16/12/2021 09:15

I've just put the lip colour on for the school run and have to say it is lovely. I can see this colour working for all skin tones, so M&S have done well there. My lips are drier than the Sahara at the moment but it does seem moisturising too.

TokyoSushi · 16/12/2021 09:19

Also just worn this for the school run, I really like it!
