That is a very odd letter from Monaco HQ... whatever is going on I do hope that Charlene is ok. On a lighter note 'Princely Palace' does sound like something from a cartoon.

There is a book out about the Dutch Crown princess, the Princess of Orange Catherine Amalia, who has just or will shortly turn 18. And we should all be delighted to hear she takes after her mother - she loves tiaras and jewels!

She says that she knows all the European royal tiaras by sight and loves sitting with her mother at her dressing table and trying on her jewels. The book includes a photo of her a a young girl doing just that with the Mellerio ruby tiara!

Romainingcalm I think it's because the original press release is in French so this might just be a quirk of translation.

Just I agree, however much I want to believe it was a love match, I've always had my doubts. I watched the wedding and there's no way she was crying tears of joy.

I remember watching the evening news with my dad when the final piece was a snippet of the Queen attending an event in that harlequin dress. I still remember dad saying, " All that money and access to all the best advice and look at what she's wearing!"
