Here, be honest,

Not sure if its too plain.

first

second, really bad pic of me but you can see makeup better

Please bear in mind my hair while be a whirlwind of big black curls and not just back in a pony

And check out the spots on my chin!! I never have spots, seriously NEVER and 2 weeks before I get married that happens

I usally go for an Amy Winehouse (minus the drugs) look so am feeling a bit bare around the eyes!

Eyes are lovely, perhaps less blusher and more defination on the lips especially if wearing a veil, but not too much, I think you are not too far off in the pics, have a lovely day.

S1ur · 05/12/2007 00:14

You look beautiful, when's the wedding?

You do have wonderful eyes, I'm sure more knowledgeable people than me could advise about smokey eyes or some such which would probably look amazing on you but... less is more IMO, maybe ever so slightly less even on cheeks? could just be pic though...

I think def go for naked pout, you're lucky to have lovely shaped lips but yeah I'd focus on eyes first cas yours are so gorgeous

Krimble · 05/12/2007 00:14

Mind you blusher could be spot on it could just be the lighting in the pic, remember to check look in day light (unless you are getting married at night, perhaps add a bit more to the eyes at night if that is what you usually go for .

I think it's all really natural and perfect for your wedding day. Think the blusher is just right, think the light may be the problem on the second pic. Only thing I would do is perhaps blend your eye makeup more to the outer corners and keep it lighter on the inside?

KittyLetteItSnow · 05/12/2007 00:21

Hmm yea, false eyelashes would be good

I dont really like colour on my lips, thats just very pale pink lipgloss with foundation under!

I have a pinkpink one and it just didnt look right to me! I cant handle the colour, lol!

you will look stunning less is deffo more

KittyLetteItSnow · 05/12/2007 00:24

i think i do have too much blusher

Im calm int hose pics too but when Im nervous I blush loads so that blusher combined with my red cheeks underneath will look dire, so Ill tone that down too!

Im getting my 'practise run' hair done thursday too so you can have a nosy of that, hehe.

You look lovely in both pics but I would put a bit more definition round the eyes tbh (but then I always wear too much make up ). I also think you should go for a version of teh makeup you usually wear rather than anything too different, - you want to look like YOU when you're looking back at your wedding pics.

twinsetandpearls · 05/12/2007 01:17

I think the blusher is fine as you need it to show on photos. I agree that more definition needed around eyesm if only a sweep of liner.

It's lovely

nappyaddict · 05/12/2007 08:58

i think you need something around the eyes. they look a bit lost. blusher looks fine. false eyelashes would be good.

womblingalong · 05/12/2007 09:03

Agree with Kerry,

You need a slightly warmer lip colour, also can you define your eyebrows a bit more agree with Mommaloves, that will help definition on the eyes, maybe more mascara/false lashes too.

Dropdeadfred · 05/12/2007 09:07

A bit of smudgey slate grey or bronze around the eye would look great. Fil in eyebrows a little with powder (not pencil strokes!!) and perhaps gp for a more peachy blusher rather than pink.

Whatever you do you are very pretty and will look amazing on the day! Good Luck!

KittyLetteItSnow · 05/12/2007 09:50

Thanks girls, will bear that all in mind and have another go tonight,

Im going to get a bit of a darker eyeshadow as i got 'nude' and 'pink' but once you apply the nude the pink wont go over it noticably iykwim.

Ive never darkened my eyebrows so will try that tto & Ill get some false eyelashes

LoveAngelGabriel · 05/12/2007 10:52

I'd go slightly stronger on the eyes ( Strong eyes look great in wedding photos) and add a touch more colour to the lips - something still fairly natural, maybe a rosy pink colour?

LoveAngelGabriel · 05/12/2007 10:53

You're beautiful, by the way!

slim22 · 05/12/2007 11:08

It's lovely!
I really like the blushing bride look.

LaCerbiatta · 05/12/2007 11:27

You look beautiful, but remember that after a couple of hours the blusher will have faded a lot, so don't put any less than that or you'll look too pale. I agree that eyes should be a bit stronger / smokier.

Are you applying any powder in the end to fix it all? I also did my wedding make-up and I remember everyone suggesting that, it does keep it all in place for longer. Maybe someone who knows about make up will be able to recommend some.

Finally, you're skin and hair tones are very cool, you do not suit warm tones. Stay away from peachey blushers, pinks are better.
