ok have grey next dress - more for work things. Quite plain, goodness knows what I'd wear with it (would also be a bit self conscious as too short I think).

Have dull gold stretchy dress that is good length and good for this sort of thing and can wear black cardigan or jacket with it. But am concerned about the rain. Legs not my strong point.

Or a sort of black ish skirt with a shirt.

err haven't got much further . If I wear trews, they will have to be suit trousers with a sort of workish top.

Are you a big eater? I always factor that in for dinner. What are your options?

JeremyMcVile · 01/12/2007 16:42

If I had gone, I would have worn this, It's made of lentils you know.

(Btw who is this DanielJohnston person.
I wondered if it was a ruse for a reg to go incognito?)

no, I'm going to a 40th. It's too close for a cab. Maybe a 15 minute walk.

Oh wear the gold dress foxy. Definately wear the gold dress with tights and good shoes. If it's short then you can cover it up with a coat in the rain can't you?

What is Cod wearing to her 40th party?

And what am I wearing out to the interior decorators?

She isn't my interior decorator, she just is one. She's all style with scarves and looks you straight in the eye all the time and says 'taupe' a lot. You'd love her Cod.

My options. Hmm. There's the 10 y-o AF dress, but it's had so many outings recently it's becoming embarassing. Then there's a wrap dress, and these black linen trousers which are cropped, but I think look nice with my boots, but I might be wrong. Am I wrong? Someone tell me.

I don't know actually. I don't own many clothes.

TwinklyfLightAttendant · 01/12/2007 16:49

Oh shes gorn out

TwinklyfLightAttendant · 01/12/2007 16:49

I have no idea what I'm wearing. I blew out my 'what to wear' skills sorting out outfit for big do last night (see other threads!).

Was debating top with cut away bits, and long cotton skirt that looks like stained glass, only have gone off it, want to wear something shorter that shows off legs ... wear heels, but bring flats for dancing. I only started trying wearing heels again this week, and walking is fine, but dancing isn't, really.

is that 'as found'? Good way to describe most of my baby-sicked, floor based clothes atm.

ahundredtimes · 01/12/2007 16:50

Oh really? No?

Alberta Ferreti dress. Honestly it's ancient and I keep on wearing it. I have this black polka dot dress too, but that with my mid-life crisis hair might make be explode with worry I think.
