Don't canvas bags get wet though?

LyraSilvertongue · 01/12/2007 16:12

Not the Timberland one, Cod? What would you suggest then?

I want something not too fussy or girly, which will fit my purse, keys, mobile, a book/newspaper, assorted crap that DSs bring home from school (letters etc) and some pockets for lippy etc.

i have a black kipling accross the body one. it is washable, roomy with out being massive, and has loads of pockets. i personally love kipling for every day casual, and radley for special, or when i dont have my dd with me!

LyraSilvertongue · 01/12/2007 16:21

No babies, DSs 3 and 5. I like the Fat Face one on the bottom row in the middle. Yes, across the body is best (keeps hands free).
Lizandlulu I like Kipling bags too.

Whenever there are handbag threads I always go off and look at Birken bags. I need to get over it.

LyraSilvertongue · 01/12/2007 16:24

What, like this one 100times?

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 01/12/2007 16:26

Yes!

Actually I go and look at a lime green one, not crocodile skin, I look at that a lot. Then I look at black ones. It's not healthy really.

Sometimes I look at Hermes Kelly bags too.

Right, sorry.

YOUR bag.

lizandlulu · 01/12/2007 17:04

im sorry i cant do links! i also like the fat face bags, but really dont think you can do better tham kipling for over body bags.qvc always have them in stock and are quite a good price

dramaqueen · 01/12/2007 17:08

Plinkyplonk · 01/12/2007 17:13

Bugger, I give up, it's the red Radley Samovar.

LyraSilvertongue · 01/12/2007 17:32

Dramaqueen, I like those seasalt ones. Might get one for next summer.
I'm thinking Kipling might be the way to go.

AMerryScot · 01/12/2007 17:39

I have a black Gap nappy bag (DD is 5, so a long time since it's been used for its purpose.)
