But I love admiring beautifully manicured nails so please show me yours!

What’s been your favourite colour this summer?

Also if anyone has any recommendations for a properly perfect red gel varnish (to use with gel lamp) I’d really appreciate it! Needs to be your classic Parisienne red.

How can you type, cook or do anything that involves using your hands with nails that length?

Gel polish, nearly 2 weeks on.

These are mine, they have grown out a bit now though

@RampantIvy it’s surprising how quick you get used to them!

These are about 2.5 weeks old now, and not my favourite set but I was in a rush when I had them done. I don't know what to go for next.

Lots of lovely nails! I’m off to get mine redone on Monday. Have recently discovered biab (I think that’s what it’s called!) from gel bottle and it’s been a total game changer for my weak nails.

A boring pale pink for me (done at home and kept short as I prefer them).

I love a good pedicure. This is a lovely, juicy orange shade that has a bit of shimmer.

These are my last set, apologies only took the pic about 4 weeks after I got them done!

Due to be redone this coming week but this is my favourite summer colour. My toes are the same colour.

Baby blue glitter

Crantastic color street wraps. I'm addicted! They go on easily and wear like a gel. I'm a nurse so when I get annual leave I go bonkers for nails!

Ohhh lots more fabulous manicures! 😍

@YukoandHiro I am a terrible nail biter and I used acrylics to stop, so it can definitely work.

I went and got acrylics with gel on top and just asked for them to be really short (just beyond the end of my finger) and a natural rounded shape.

For me they last about 3 weeks before they start looking a bit funny as they grow off
You can then have them ‘infilled’
One infill is probably enough to let yours grow underneath and then I’d recommend having the acrylics off and gel or SNS on your own nails.
It’s really helped me and been so lovely having nice hands. I recently relapsed but just got one set of acrylics on and an now back on track with gel on my own nails. They’re still quite short but will soon grow.

Freshly done yesterday!

I used to be a horrible nail biter - gels really help. I found normal polish I just picked at . Also gels are pricy, so I have an incentive not to wreck them.
