That’s what they reminded me of, I remember in primary making sandals and had to put string on the foot bit to wear them, then tie them round our ankles awful.

Yuck! Reminds me of the stuff on that man repeller blog. I don't even like the square toed sandals around at the moment which seem to have crawled their way out of the nineties and these are a very, very extreme version.

How do you even walk in them?

Hilariously dreadful! The models only look ok because they are models! They'd look better in almost any other shoes. Not a fan of their dresses either! And standing on an uneven piece of wood in those flimsy things looks like an accident waiting to happen .
