What's the best colour for toe nails?

I always go for red on my toes, any other colours I should consider?

I like that colour @IggyAce. Navy looks lovely imo - but depends what your skin tone is I think. I've got a very dark red at the moment but I have olive skin so look a bit ridiculous with white or orange toes.

Honestly, anything but the chavtastic white.

Other bad choices include blues, greens, yellows and pearly colours, but I think white is the absolute worst.

Apart from that, I think most colours are fine.

My favourite for my toes is orange, I use a NailsInc one but not sure of the exact colour (it doesn’t say what the colour is on the bottle) it was a freebie with a magazine and not a colour I would have chosen normally. It makes me feel summery.

I keep trying different colours but nothing looks as good as red.

I had a dark blue once. Lovely colour but made my feet look like a corpse. Had to go back a week later to get it changed!

I tend to stick with shades of pink or red on my toes. I find they are flattering and versatile.

Currently a stick of rock pink. My favourite is raspberry but I have run out. I don't like to go too pale on my toes so no lighter than candyfloss pink. Happy to go for a deep wine or berry though. Pale looks great on darker skin or with a tan though.

Coral looks good, and I had a bright orange for a holiday once which looked great with a tan and white sandals.

Gold and silver can look good depending upon your skin tone and providing your feet are well cared for.

Purples, blues and greens I think need more care, they can look a bit like you have manky feet or bruised nails if you aren't careful. Likewise black or grey.

It depends a bit whether you are having a regular professional pedicure and have beautiful feet or whether you slap something on quickly at home and struggle to keep your feet tidy.

Always a dark red for me.

I have Big Apple Red on my fingers and Down to the Core-al in my toes… don’t really care if it goes but I think it looks nice!

I have this pink at the moment - I tend to think the brighter, the better on toes!

My favourite for hands and feet is Chick Flick Cherry. But probably a bit safe.

Think it entirely depends on skin tone - the last time I had a manicure the woman next to me was having a cherry red which looked gorgeous on her (she also happened to look like Rihanna so probably could have got away with any colour and looked fabulous), but on my pale Irish feet it would have looked terrible (but if you do happen to be so pale you’re almost blue too OP I’d recommend this one:

Defo go lighter on finger nails in the summer. When toes are covered anything goes!

Bright orange or pink when it's sunny, classic red when overcast, dark red in the winter

I like all shades of red, usually darker in winter and brighter in summer. Bright coral is universally flattering and I love it for summer. I also love this browny, pinky, red colour at the mo:

Previously they were turquoise
I don’t match them to my hands!

I've got Nailberry Raspberry on my toes at the moment, though looks a bit scruffy and needs a re-do. On my hands Dior Nailglow.

I think toes should change colour regularly. You don’t wear the same colour top all the time do you? The same logic should apply.
