I can't wear spaghetti straps with NO bra. Then I'll have NO TITS and that isn't a good look.

Look, I just HAVE to wear a bra with SERIOUS PADDING. There's no way around it.

But all my dresses have spaghetti straps.

Is it A REALLY AWFUL CRIME? Or if the bra and the straps are both black, is it okay?

Please let me know.

SantaBeClausImWorthIt · 21/11/2007 21:52

That will teach me to read threads properly!

Something rather poetic about The Lady with the Bra Straps, though.

I used to do this in a past life with wispy things from Calvin Klein

morningpaper · 21/11/2007 22:05

I have photographed various dresses

I might put them on my profile for Advance Judging

I ahve decided I can't spend £250 on a night out so am not going . And there isn't any room at your inn

ArrietyClock · 21/11/2007 22:19

Ahh. A familiar problem. I have nowt up top. I made it as far as a pathetic just-B while breastfeeding. Made the mistake several years ago of buying a cut-on-the-cross-spagetti-strapped-shows-everything-you-both-have-and-haven't-got dress which precipitated a general underwear crisis but with a particular focus on the boob area.... Eventually after much weeping and wailing in various changing rooms around the country, found a strapless, padded, insert what you like (chicken fillets, socks, bog roll, whatevers to hand) bra by Triumph. Not sure if they still do them, but there is something out there for you.... if you are prepared to hunt.

Oh, just had a thought. There is lingerie shop on the High Street in Keynsham called Perfect Fit. Think they also have a website. I am told they can solve ALL bra problems. I intend to try them out the minute my pair go back to their regular non-existent size (or whatever's left of them by then).

zippitippitoes · 21/11/2007 22:31

lol my modesty blaise outfit

fullmoonfiend · 22/11/2007 08:59

zippi - photo please of this garment!!!

HysterSister · 22/11/2007 19:12

I dream of having part of my a* siphoned out and injected into my saggy boobs. They have practically reached my arse anyway.

Anna8888 · 22/11/2007 20:24

Spaghetti straps - don't, not a good look unless your body perfect in every way.

More is more, where evening dresses and less than perfect bodies are concerned - as in more fabric = more sex appeal.

Only show off good bits and buy excellent underwear.

zippitippitoes · 22/11/2007 21:19

i don't have a photo my dd1 says it looks nice lol

LoveAngelGabriel · 22/11/2007 21:23

what about this

Stick a couple of chicken fillets in for extra oomph!

foxinsocks · 22/11/2007 21:28

what size are you?

there are some bras at M&S that sort of uplift.

Just be careful though and do try them on - some of them squish your boobs and contort them into the strangest positions and if they are going to be prominently displayed under said dress, you'd need to know this in advance.

morningpaper · 23/11/2007 08:57

sadly my boobs are never prominently displayed

I'm a 34a I think

bloody breastfeeding

Anna, this is for the MUMNET XMAS MEET UP. I am not ACTUALLY trying to get laid. I'm not sure why it requires "excellent underwear" (unless I have really misunderstood the plan for the evening...)
